Official trailer of “The Forbidden Kingdom”… movie starring Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Michael Angarano, Crystal Liu and Li Bingbing etc.
The movie is set to show in April or May 2008 depending on locations.
Korean star Lee Jun-ki is officially a member of Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG), one of the largest entertainment conglomerates in Hong Kong and China. EEG will manage his career in Chinese region (China, Hong Kong and Taiwan).
“King of Kungfu” (or “Forbidden Kingdom”), the movie starring both Jet Li and Jackie Chan, is scheduled to premiere on May 1, 2008.
The filming of the movie is set to complete by end of the month (August 28). It’s reported that Jet has finished filming his part and is joining the production of another movie “Mummy 3″ instead; while Jackie and other main cast still need a few more days to complete their scenes.
Update - I read from other news that May 1 is the release date in China; the film might be released earlier in US and other places in April.
“Rush Hour 3″ made its premiere on July 30 in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Director Brett Ratner and the main cast of Jackie Chan, Chris Tucker, Zhang Jingchu, Hiroyuki Sanada and Youki Kudoh have attended the event.

Chinese star Crystal Liu Yifei is busy filming “King of Kungfu” with Jackie Chan and Jet Li… and the latest news……… her mum will be starring in the movie as well.
According to some reports, Yifei’s mother will be starring in a small role as a goddess. In fact it’s more like a cameo role; she will only have one line of words in the movie, and Yifei will not be appearing in that particular shot… too bad, it would be fun.
Yifei’s mother was a famous stage performer when she was young, so I guess she won’t have any problem facing the camera.

Recent rumors indicate that young Chinese actress Liu Yifei might be starring in Hollywood movie “Mummy 3: Curse of the Dragon.”
Besides Brendan Fraser, Asian stars Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh have agreed to join the movie. The producer is still looking for a young Asian actress to fit in a supporting role, and Yifei has caught their attention.
Liu Yifei is currently filming “Forbidden Kingdom” with Jackie Chan and Jet Li, while the filming of Mummy 3 is set to start filming in China in August… so the schedule might be a bit tight. However, since that Jet Li is also tied with both movies, I doubt the schedule is not an issue for Yifei. Question is, how true is the rumor?

Popular Chinese actress Li Bingbing has joined Ocean-Butterfly Music (OBmusic), and set to release her debut album soon.
Li Bingbing has been one of China’s most popular actresses for the past few years. She and Crystal Liu have just been confirmed their roles in movie “King of Kungfu,” starring alongside superstar Jackie Chan and Jet Li.
Li Bingbing will be joining the likes of JJ Lin, Jeff Zhang and Rynn Lim etc. at OBmusic. She is currently in Singapore for music training.

Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat will play the role of a Muslim woman in her second Hollywood film “Unveiled” to be directed by Bill Bannerman.
I first noticed Sherawat in Jackie Chan’s “The Myth,” where she played a minor but eye-catching role. Reports mentioned that The Myth was her first Hollywood movie, but I doubt that it should be classified as a Hollywood production.
