Movie trailer for Korean movie “Hwang Jin-i,” starring popular star Song Hye-kyo and Yoo Ji-tae; can’t understand a single word, pretty cool trailer though…

The movie has been the talk of the town for months, as another TV version of the story based on the real life of famous 16th century’s Kisaeng (similar to Japanese Geisha) was made at almost the same time.

The TV drama version, starring another popular actress Ha Ji-won, has achieve high ratings in Korea. People are having high expectation on the movie version, as comparison will certainly be made… hopefully the movie won’t be a disappointment.

Also, the movie version of Hwang Jin-i is set to show in North Korea, which is pretty uncommon for a South Korean movie due to political reason. The movie will however be limited to show in certain areas in North Korea where the movie was filmed, like Kŭmgangsan etc.

Twinkle, a song by Taiwanese artist Show Luo and Japanese pop diva Koda Kumi…

I am not a big fan for both of them, and I don’t like the music video (the song is decent though). Just felt that I should share this video; it’s not often seeing 2 big names from Taiwan and Japan singing together.

The official trailer for “Harry Potter 5: Order of the Phoenix.” The movie is expected to release in mid-July 2007.

Famous Korean boyband Shinhwa and actress Moon Geun-young in a TV commercial for Ivyclub, famous school uniform producer in Korea…

Not sure what they are saying; pretty cute video though.

“Atonement” is a movie based on Ian McEwan’s same title novel. Directed by director of “Pride and Prejudice,” Joe Wright; the movie stars Keira Knightley, James McAvoy and Romola Garai.

I am not going to pretend that I know about the original story, I don’t read that much lol; so here’s the review from imdb instead…

In the summer of 1935, 13-year-old Briony Tallis observes a flirtation between a servant’s son, Robbie (James), and her older sister, Cecilia (Keira), that she childishly misconstrues. Briony’s misunderstanding leads to a terrible crime whose consequences follow them through World War II…

A fan-made video featuring clips from popular Japanese drama “Densha Otoko” (starring Ito Misaki and Atsushi Ito). The song “You’re Beautiful” is from British singer James Blunt.

Good drama, lovely song… but what I really like about this video is how the author matched the lyric and the clips nicely, as if it’s a mini-drama of its own. Bravo.

This Korean MV caught my attention a couple of weeks ago because of the ‘actors’ featuring in the video… some big names from boyband TVXQ, Super Junior and G.O.D.

The song is “Bi Haeng So Nyeo” (or “Bi Heng So Nyo,” which means flying girl)…

New song from Korean pop star Kwon BoA

Update - Youtube removed the MV… below is the video of a live show instead…

Movie “Spider Lilies” has started showing in Taiwan cinemas on Wednesday (March 28).

The lesbian-related movie, directed by Zero Chou (weird name lol), had received great reviews from recent Berlin Film Festival, and is highly anticipated by movie fans.

The popularity of leading actress Rainie Yang has attracted high expectation from the movie. Rainie and her co-star Isabella Leong attended the Taiwan premiere in Taipei, and were ‘pressured’ by the fans and press to do a kiss scene on the spot…
