Universal Orlando Resort is opening a Harry Potter theme park that will let fans visit many of the iconic locations in the books and movies that endeared the boy magician to millions.
“The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” is set to open at Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park in late 2009, complete with the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade village. [Source - Chinadaily]
Finally… I wonder what took them so long to build a Harry Potter theme park. Hopefully we will see one or two in the Asian region soon.

An 18th-century Stradivari violin has been sold for £1.38 million - the second highest price ever paid for a musical instrument at auction.
The instrument, which is known as “Solomon, Ex-Lambert”, went under the hammer at Christie’s in New York for $2,728,000.
The violin was made in Cremona, Italy, by famed stringed instrument maker Antonio Stradivari in 1729.
The world record price for a musical instrument sold at auction was set by another Stradivari - “The Hammer” - which went for $3,544,000 (£1.8 million) at Christie’s in May last year.
Interesting isn’t it? I never knew that a violin could worth that much lol.

Harry, a Dandie Dinmont Terrier co-owned by US famous comedian Bill Cosby, stole the show in the first day of competition at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
Harry was the only Dandie Dinmont in the competition and finished first (what else?) in the terrier group.
I wonder how a dog could be co-owned?

Madrid’s fashion week has made a unprecedented move, to ban overskinny models that have BMI below 18 to participate in the fashion show.
Edinburg fashion show is said to be following Madrid’s move, while the mayor of Milan has also voiced thier consideration for taking the same footstep.
