An Indian court has issued arrest warrants for Richard Gere, the Hollywood actor, and Shilpa Shetty, the Bollywood star, after he kissed her on the cheek at a public event to promote AIDS awareness.
I think the arrest order is harsh, but I don’t like to ridicule others’ culture; the world is so big and the culture and believe is so different on different side of the world.
India is not doing good international publicity for themselves though… Richard Gere was there for charity purpose, to help India to battle AIDS, and this is what he gets.
Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat will play the role of a Muslim woman in her second Hollywood film “Unveiled” to be directed by Bill Bannerman.
I first noticed Sherawat in Jackie Chan’s “The Myth,” where she played a minor but eye-catching role. Reports mentioned that The Myth was her first Hollywood movie, but I doubt that it should be classified as a Hollywood production.

Actress and model Elizabeth Hurley has been celebrating her marriage to Indian businessman Arun Nayar in a lavish ceremony in the Cotswolds.
The couple married “in a private ceremony” on Friday, a spokesman for Gloucestershire county council said.
Celebrity guests including Sir Elton John, supermodel Elle Macpherson and artist Tracey Emin attended the blessing and party at Sudeley Castle. A second wedding ceremony will be conducted in a palace in Jodhpur, India.
Liz Hurley is in my opinion, one of the hottest stars for the past decade. Good luck to the couple, happy wedding.
