Korean star Gong Yoo, famous for drama “1st Shop of Coffee Prince”, has joined the army. He made his final farewell to his fans and the press just before entering the army academy on January 14.
Korean star Lee Byung-hun is named as one of the cast for Hollywood movie “G.I. Joe”, which is based on the popular comic and cartoon series.
Lee will play the role Shadow Storm, not the main character but one of the fans favourite. He will star alongside Sienna Miller, Ray Park and Rachel Nichols etc. The movie has not started filming yet, and is expected to be released in summer 2009.

Korean actress Moon Geun-yeung is making her comeback in drama acting after 5 years with drama “Wind’s Garden” (unconfirmed title).
The drama is based on a popular novel. Moon Geun-young will star as a talented painter who disguised as a boy while in search for her father’s murderer, and met with a master painter who guided her into a great painter as well.
The drama is scheduled to star filming in March 2007.
