Korean star Gong Yoo, famous for drama “1st Shop of Coffee Prince”, has joined the army. He made his final farewell to his fans and the press just before entering the army academy on January 14.
Korean guys are mandatory to join the military service for 2 years.

i have been a fan of yours every since i brought coffee prince. I think you are a very talented actor, But my main concern is that you stay safe, we are not living in the very best of times, so if you ever need to talk and need a good ear, i will be there to listen, because that is what good friends do. so please keep safe!

i really love your acting….it’s leave such a unforgettable memories that cannot be get out of my head. i just saw your drama the coffee prince this year that just have been on air in malaysia. FYI i just bought the dvd of Coffee Prince and it’s a relief that here still have the stock of that drama eventhough it has been for 3 years ago. Thank God for that….Gong Yoo i never so in to korean drama before this but this drama and it’s cast and dont forget the director really know to nail this one out…i keep repeating watching this drama over n over again and promoting it to all my good friends to watch this drama…because it has everything in it comedy.romantic, relationship so well balanced….hmmmm i really hope that u can come to malaysia and i want to shake ur hand, give a big kiss on your cheek n give a big hug coz i really like u….gong yoo
