Korean actor Kwon Sang-woo might star in a Japanese drama next year, as a Hallyu star. Hallyu literally means ‘Korean wave’ in Korean. It refers to the popularity of South Korean popular culture in Asian countries.
The drama is still in planning stage but Kwon Sang-woo has expressed interest in starring in a Japanese series next year. Early speculation suggested that Kwon would be starring as a Korean star who falls in love with a Japanese royal.
If things are going as planned, the J-drama will start filming in May 2008.

When I first saw Kwon Sang Woo which was yesterday, I thought he was a half Japanese! So, I think if he agrees to star the Hallyu star then it is going to hit the top list for sure!!
