Some recent pictures of rising Chinese star Tang Wei, released by her stylist Chen Fei on his blog. Tang Wei is the leading actress in the “Lust, Caution”, the latest film by world renowned director Ang Lee.

She looks so much prettier than Zhang Ziyi, according to Asian standards of beuaty (face, etc.). I don’t know about American standards, though, because I appreciate the Asian standards more (I’m Chinese-American, but lived in China and have family in Taiwan).

She is so beautiful ! After watching her movie, I love her so much. She is my 1st idol from China. Absolutely she is much much much… more prettier than Zhang Ziyi.

As Kiarra’s comment that Tang Wei is ‘pail’, wow…is that criticism a reflection of your bucket-like figure or were you simply not able to spell the word ‘pale’? I guess you could spell the word ‘ugly’ because you are too well-acquainted with it to get it wrong.

To be in the spot light and not let the world tear you apart shows one of her strenghts. Everyone has faults, but the small ones the people use to tear apart beautiful women like her are weak. They show there own personal insecurities. I’m far from perfect and to imagine myself next to a women like her, or Zhang Ziyi would be a blessing. Too bad these women will not find the happiness that they really want because of the classisum gaps in the world. Those with less are more humble in most cases. They appreciate what the have more so then those with anything they want. I respect her work and her ability to not let others tear her down. She is a very beautiful women on the outside, but I will never know for sure about the inner beauty.

If she wasnt famious, she would be average. I have seen so many drop dead cute, sexy, sassy, asain girls and she is far from the best I have seen in everyday life. Cant understnad how fame makes you more than reality. I really can’t speak for asian taste in woman, but I can speak from a mans perspective. Flat chested or not, I see everyday asian much better looking, she’s average.

To say that this young lady is more beautiful than Zhang Zi Yi is nuts. Yi at the same age was 47.3967 times more lovely, innocent, gamin-like, and had an earth-brightening smile to boot.
Breast size is of no import. We are talking beauty here, and a breast is a breast…
Haven’t seen the movie Lust, Caution! but would suggest that all watch Zhang Zi Yi in the movie: The Road Home.
It is her best and she is at her loveliest.

Zhang Zi Yi only appears beautiful to non Asians. For those who are Asian Zhang Zi Yi is not very beautiful. Tang Wei is not flat chested. But i suppose Americans are fixated on pornstar breasts that anything that is natural is considered small. shame on you ignorant ingrates!.

oh well.. she’s so pretty……i just don’t like her underarms in lust,caution…and i am glad that she doesn’t really have that grossy hair in her U.A…..She is very pretty and young looking for a 29 years old!

to pinoymenyak and lily, “lust, caution” was a period film, women back then didn’t shave like women do in to-day’s society!
