Japanese stars Ayumi Hamasaki and Tomoya Nagase have officially split. Ayumi announced the news on her personal website, while both artists’ agencies have confirmed the news as well.
Ayumi and Tomoya were together for around 7 years. Their relationship encountered some mini-crisis in 2005 when Ayumi was rumored getting close with someone else (Tomoya had his fair share of rumors too), but they seemed to be getting well in 2006/2007.
In fact their relationship seemed so steady recently that the Japanese press began to speculate about their marriage… they didn’t see the split coming though.
Ayumi didn’t state the real reason for their split, but mentioned that they split in peace and will remain as close friends.
Some of netizens are skeptical about the split though… as Ayumi is going to release her latest single on July 18; some people actually see this as a publicity stunt the end of the relationship.

Ah well you know if they arent made for each other neither should stay with the other or theyll never find the ONE. I think Nagase is an ugly bucket head (I think soemone should slander him because youre mostly all blazing at Ayumi you bucket heads!) As for the comments that it was over abortion and dogs I cant belive anyone could write anything so horrid. Times Japan need to edit that article and quickly because its so heartbreaking to think if that was circulating and Ayumi/Nagase read it.
PS. I dont actually hate you for liking Nagase, but please dont insult ayumi….they were both mutual towards the end of their relationship so why should we all judge. Its between them. Final.

I think it’s quite hard for them already..
I love Nagase Tomoya… but I don’t hate Ayumi as well…
I’m Indonesian and I do think that japanese are very interesting people… so creative in entertainment..and of course nail accessories.. (^^,)

i heard some stupid rumor saying that Ayumi Hamasaki and Tomoya Nagase split because she was hitting on some other guy and all(Shawn Yue)because of her MV for Glitter/Fated. but, i can see on Ayumi’s point of view saying that they were to get to know each other more, you know, like how actors/actresses do in films like Pirates of the Caribbean or even Memoirs of a Geisha. that’s how life goes. everything has a beginning, but everything soon has an end. but, i also heard that Ayumi had asked Tomoya to watch her puppies and walk them, comb them, feed them, and let them out to go potty. he complained that she was nagging on him way too much. she had asked him these things for him to do when she was gone on Tour or other things from her career. but, there was also another rumor spread that Ayumi had an abortion(which i think isn’t true), and that Ayumi ended up with sex disease. i don’t think that one was true, either. but Ayumi is still young and pretty. there are many other fish out there in the open sea. she will end up with someone very special in time, just give her the chance and time to do so. i feel bad for Ayumi,though because she gets all the blows from rumors. it’s not fair when most of those nasty rumors aren’t even true. then she gets hurt for nothing. kind of like High School.
