Malaysian born star Nicholas Teo (Zhang Dong Liang) has bought a million dollar house* worth around NT10 million.
Nic and Taiwanese artist Cyndi Wang have become popular stars since starring in TV drama “Sonria Pasta” in 2006. The drama is so popular in Taiwan that the TV station decided to re-air again.
Besides that, Sonria Pasta is also set to show in China and Singapore, which should make Nic and Cyndi more famous… and probably richer as well.
Nic also have the luxury to travel in Dubai Europe recently, but was sad that his favorite notebook PC was stolen in Florence.
Nic is currently busy with his latest album, which is scheduled to release on June 1.

Korean drama “Air City” is scheduled to premiere on May 19 in Korea. This is the 1st Korean drama in 3 years from popular actress Choi Ji-woo, and was highly anticipated since the making of the drama was announced.
The drama made a special preview for the press on Monday (May 14); the main cast of (from right to left) Lee Jun-jae, Choi Ji-woo, Lee Jin-wook and Mong Jung-hee were at the event…
Korean actress Park Han-byul is rumored to star in “Destiny,” the movie featuring the 2 big stars Kwon Sang-woo and Song Seung-hun.
Park is not an A-list actress, but she featured in some popular TV commercials that was showed around Asia and is quite well known online. Apparently some people were curious about the girl who featured in those commercials and actively seeking her details on the net, thus created the buzz about this girl.
Perhaps this will be Park Han-byul’s breakthrough movie that makes her the next big star from Korea.
Korean star Ha Ji-won will meet her fans in Japan on May 26.
Korean artists seem fond to visit Japan to meet their fans in recent months… I wonder what would make them more willing to visit other countries as well.
The former members of popular Korean girls group Fin.K.L gathered again on Sunday (May 13) to celebrate Lee Hyori’s birthday.
(right of the pic is not a member of Fin.K.L, probably a friend)
Hyori celebrated her 29th birthday (28th by English standard) with her fans and friends on Sunday; the other 3 Fin.K.L members Ok Ju-hyun, Sung Yuri and Lee Jin decided to take the chance for a gathering.
Recent rumors indicate that young Chinese actress Liu Yifei might be starring in Hollywood movie “Mummy 3: Curse of the Dragon.”
Besides Brendan Fraser, Asian stars Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh have agreed to join the movie. The producer is still looking for a young Asian actress to fit in a supporting role, and Yifei has caught their attention.
Liu Yifei is currently filming “Forbidden Kingdom” with Jackie Chan and Jet Li, while the filming of Mummy 3 is set to start filming in China in August… so the schedule might be a bit tight. However, since that Jet Li is also tied with both movies, I doubt the schedule is not an issue for Yifei. Question is, how true is the rumor?
