American star Lindsay Lohan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) on Saturday (May 26) after her convertible struck a curb, and investigators found what they believe is cocaine at the scene, police said.
Lohan, who spent time at a rehabilitation center earlier this year, was driven in another car to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries; the two other people in her car were not hurt. [Source - Chinadaily]

I think it’s debatable whether to allow artist to make fame at young age… Lindsay was just 18 when she became really famous? I was still studying in high school back then…
Not defending her silly action though… just thought that it’s not easy to become famous at young age.

Ha, I wouldn’t hold my breath on that girl learning her lesson. She’s no better than Paris Hilton in that. Girls like Lindsey and others of that ilk are basically hard headed, arrogant, immature little brats that just have yet to grow up and learn things the hard way over and over again.
Ironically, Lindsey plays all these movie roles of a bad rebbellious girl who eventually learns her lesson. (ie: her latest movie “Georgia Rule”) But she doesn’t seem smart enough to apply any of it to her own life.

Oh, and these little 1, 2 ,3 month stays in rehab that her , Brittney and other pampered celebrity chicks go for, just do not cut it. Drug and alcohol rhab takes almost a year to really sink in to these people. And they can’t be allowed to just come and go at their leisure. Sounds harsh, but that’s just how it has to work. True rehab requires strict discipline and monitoring and hour and hour of constant counseling as well as strict consequences for violations of house rules. That’s the problem with the kind of hoity toyty rehab places like Promises Malibu Treatment Center that those celebrity chicks go to. They aren’t disciplined.

Thing is… these girls (Lindsay, Paris etc.) still get famous with all these habits. Perhaps this is one of the main reason they are not determined to change; they are still famous (and popular?) after all the mess.
