Jumong was the highest rated drama in Korea in 2006, and has started showing in other parts of Asia.
Jumong is a historical drama based on the life of Jumong Taewang, founder of the kingdom of Goguryeo in the first century. The storyline of the drama has been largely altered though, to more real-life basis instead of the myhtical legend of Jumong (he is said to be descendent of gods in Korean myth).
The 81-episodes drama starred Song Il-gook, Han Hye-jin etc. I haven’t watch the drama yet, so I can’t share much insight about the drama; below is the story plot I gathered from a few online resources…
The drama started with the story of Hae Mo-su, the father of Jumong… about his battle with China’s Han armies and his encounter with Princess Yuhwa (mother of Jumong).
The drama then focus on stories after Jumong was born and nurtured, becoming the prince of Buyeo and meeting with his father Hae Mo-su, who was thought dead during a Han’s pursuit.
The latter part of the stories showed the intense rivalry between Jumong and his nemesis, and his love relation with Princess Soseono.

Para sa Lahat ng mga nagsabi na panget yung jumong, tang-ina kayo… pakyu… ito lamunin nyo… kayo ang empty ang utak…. wala kyong pang-unawa sa istorya…. puro lang kasi kayo mahilig sa mga LOve Story… bkit my love story nman yung jumong ha!!! mas mganda pa nga kc my mgandang binunga yung pagmamahalan nila jumong at soseono… at iyon ay nung natupad yung kanilang dakilang layunin para mga bayan at taong nasasakupan ng emperyo ng mga Han…. kayo ang panget at walang kwenta….. panoorin niyo na lang uli bka sakaling maunawaan nyo yung mga pinagsasabi nyo dito… Pakyu uli sa inyo…. mga inutil…

hoy!!!!nkakataas ng kilay ha???!!!dun sa mga naninira sa jumong MGA WALA KAYONG UTAK!!!!MGA TANGA!!!!you’ll never ever see such great series as jumong had!!!duh!!!wala na kayong hahanapin pa dun…..mga manhid ba kayo??wala mang kissing scene dun ramdam nyo naman ung love between soseono and jumong…action ba kanyo??juzme, panain ko kaya kyo??comedy??how bout yung ke sayong at hyeop bo??tingnan ko lang kung di kayo magka-wrinkles katatawa…..ung mga mababaw jan,ung mga walang alam..cguro nga di talaga para sa inyo ung jumong…hihina ng utak nyo!!!!!
