roy… I agree. Sean Lau has been great all these years; I actually think that this is not his best movie, he should get the award earlier… but I think the judges felt that it’s the right time to award him.

raybella… I haven’t watch the movie, I can’t comment much; but there are probably not much competitions for that category :p

yummy, what do you know about gouw ian iskandar? i’ve read that he’s malaysian-born

    btw,he’s cute ^_^

won 2 awards beating much older actors, what a talented kid..

  7. #7. Yummy Says:

raybella… other than Malaysian-born, I know nothing about Ian.

Honestly I think he deserved to win it. It’s amazing that he can act that well at his young age, but I think setting the age aside… he is not as good as some other actors nominated. Well, kids always have advantage in awards.

  8. #8. raybella Says:

yup, he’s still lack of experinces compared to other actors nominated

  9. #9. nao_521 Says:

I’m glad that Ian won the award, he looks so cutely-handsome~! Haha…went to watch “After This Our Exile” right after the awards.

Nevertheless, I would like to compliment Isabella’s performance in “Isabella”, this is the 1st time she took on a leading role and here she is, nominated for Best Actress with her 1st attempt. Splendid~! She might not win this time, but we can’t say for sure in future.
