Hong Kong superstar Leon Lai and her model girlfriend Gaile Lok spent their Valentine’s Day at a ski resort in Hokkaido, Japan.
The celebrity couple was in Hokkaido since February 11 and went back to Hong Kong just a couple of days ago.
When Leon and Gaile started together about a year ago, not many expected them to be together for so long… but seems like they are doing pretty well. Good for them.
Korea transgender artist Harisu will be marrying her rapper boyfriend, Miki in May 2007.
According to Harisu’s agency, the wedding ceremony will be held on May 19. It’s said that Harisu will make the official wedding announcement on February 24 at a fans’ meeting in Seoul.
To be honest it’s a bit weird to see transgender stars getting married. I am not being discriminative, just a bit weird that’s all.
Anyhow, if the news is true… wish that the couple will have a happy marriage.
“Protégé” becomes best selling local movie in Hong Kong during the Chinese New Year week; receiving over HKD15 million (~USD2 million) of gross receipts after 8 days of showing.
Starring the likes of Andy Lau (刘德华), Daniel Wu (吴彦祖), Louis Koo (古天乐), Anita Yuen (袁咏仪) and Zhang Jingchu (张静初); “Protégé” is far ahead in cinema ticket sales compared to other local movies during the festive season.
Directed by Derek Yee (尔冬升), the crime movie is about drug lords and the dark side of the society… pretty unconventional topic to be showed during Chinese New Year, but it did well.
Still, it’s a western movie that topped the box-office over the week. “Night at the Museum” received HKD19 million after showing for 6 days.
“Baby Don’t Cry,” the latest single from Japan pop star Amuro Namie
(安室奈美恵), which was released in late January.
The single managed to hit the #3 spot on ORICON chart, creating a new record for becoming the first ever artist to have a top 10 singles in ORICON chart for 13 consecutive years.
Japanese actress Norika Fujiwara (藤原紀香) and comedian Tomonori Jinnai (阵内智则) held a traditional wedding ceremony at Ikuta Shrine, Kobe last Saturday (January 17).
Wish the celebrity couple a happy life together and forever.
Honestly, it will take me a hundred years (or never) to figure what’s going on with Britney’s mind when she shaved her head.
I thought that nothing could get worse for Britney… unless she’s going to make a movie or using her bald image for her next album cover; it’s unjustifiable for her hair removal decision.
It’s not a good time to act childish (or whatever) at the moment for Britney; she could easily lose her children’s custody to ex-hubby Kevin because of some stupid actions.
An early wish of Happy Chinese New Year to fellow Chinese.
I will be away on holiday to celebrate CNY. This website will not be updated during this period (probably until next Friday (Feb 23)) and I will not be able to reply to your comments as well.
Thanks for all your readings and comments, see you again next week.
