It’s never easy for cross-race relationship, not just for Ziyi or celebrities, but difficult for common people as well.
Set aside it’s for money or real love… it will be really tough for Ziyi and Vivi Nevo to hold the relationship.

Has anyone even considered that Mr Vivi Nevo can speak Mandarin? I mean why does everyone assume that just because Ziyi can’t speak English .. ( assuming you ALL know her!!) that they can’t communicate?.
Whatever she does, whoever she dates it doesn’t matter.. as long as she keeps producing great movies for us to watch and to bring Asian influence to the Western Screens, that’s all that matters!!
Besides, she isn’t disgracing the Chinese, like Britney Spears and Anna Nicole Smith has been disgracing the Causcians with Drug abuse!!

She only dates rich guys, its pretty obvious why she dating this dude. He is old and ugly, there is no way in hell a pretty women like that would date him otherwise. It’s human nature to look for a better option… it’s rather unfair to call Ziyi a gold-digger just because she chose a rich guy.
Imagine if Ziyi chose to date an office boy or a sanitor instead… what would people say about it then?
I just hope that there’s love behind her decision and not just pure money, that is what matters.

So True Yummy, human nature or infact animal instinct is to choose a mate so that you pass on the best genes ever to ensure the best chance of survival in the next generation.
Unfortuately humans have changed a lot of natures natural progression. In terms of humans, wealth is now part of the natural selection. Success is now linked strongly to wealth.
Naturally someone like ZZ would choose a person with wealth. But how come no one is critizing Michelle Yeoh for marrying an old dude like the Ferrari Boss? Or that Maggie Cheung and Gong Li also go out with wealthy men.
It’s also part of their culture as celebrities to do such things. I’d only label ZZ a gold-digger if she were talentless and did not make any movies in order to support herself. You’d prob say the same thing about Paris Hilton if she were naturally from a rich family. Speak of which she is talentless.

makes great movies, representing china/asians, blah blah… LMAO. please! she can do whatever she wants, but she’s not representing china or the asians. maybe representing all the “elite” asian females that do the same thing she does, which is get with white men to make mixed babies, money, same class, and all that applies to material things. if she didn’t do all that, she would have no movies at all. is she a good actress? in somewhat level, but she did what she has to do to get to where she is right now. if it’s not for all the gold digging and sellout, she would still be in china and remain a common actress. she doesn’t give a crap, and that’s true. if she gives a crap, she wouldn’t sell her soul. LOL… I look at her as a joke. Actually liked her when she starred in her first big movie in China, but all the disgraceful things she did and said made me lose all the respect for her as a person. oh, by the way. how dare she went to a basketball game? she knows nothing about sports. just look at all that pictures. she wasn’t paying attention to the game at all. the way she’s laughing and all dolled up were for the pictures. she knew people will be taking pictures, and she did all that for show. I’ve seen enough of those kind of people/celebrities, and to know that they did it for exposure. those two do look like each other in some way, and it’s a good thing, but she can rip his money off, and he can rip her body and soul off.
