Korea transgender artist Harisu will be marrying her rapper boyfriend, Miki in May 2007.

According to Harisu’s agency, the wedding ceremony will be held on May 19. It’s said that Harisu will make the official wedding announcement on February 24 at a fans’ meeting in Seoul.
To be honest it’s a bit weird to see transgender stars getting married. I am not being discriminative, just a bit weird that’s all.
Anyhow, if the news is true… wish that the couple will have a happy marriage.

To “so she’s like a guy before?” and “She was a man, now a woman”.
No she was always a girl or a woman. That was how she experienced herself all her life – read her autobigraphy. She has merely had gender affirmation surgery to bring her body into alignment with her mind and that lifelong feeling that she is female. Surgery doesn’t change your sense of gender, your sense of who you are – it merely affirms that inate sense of gender by bringing the body into closer harmony with the mind. Otherwise it would be possible to change anyone from one sex to another – which is impossible. In simple terms – Your sexual identity is between your ears – not between your legs. You can’t change what is between your ears (your brain!) but you can alter the body with surgery and hormone treatment. Anybody understand what I’m trying to say?
