China born actress Liu Yifei (刘亦菲) is rumored to be joining in the “J&J Project,” a movie that’s starring 2 Asian action superstars Jackie Chan and Jet Li.
The anticipated movie will be based on Chinese epic folklore “Journey to the West.”
Both Jackie and Jet have been interested in starring in the same movie for years, and the dream is likely to become reality this year, as the filming is scheduled to start in mid-2007.
It’s said that Liu Yifei is likely to be playing on of the 2 major female roles, as a little princess. Another popular China actress Li Bingbing (李冰冰) is hot favorite to claim the other female leading role as a demon.

Wow, the two J’s in a film together. That’ll be awesome to watch. I really like Jet Li.

Recent Chinese productions are heading for the trend where each movie will feature at least a couple of big names. The returns are more guaranteed even though the initial production cost is rising high.
The story of “Journey to the West” will involve quite a large cast, I bet we will see another few more famous Asian actors being linked to it. I am actually hoping Stephen Chow could join in for at least a cameo lol…

dang! I hope that LYI will surely be one of the casts here. It will going to be a hit. If LYI will portray one of the roles, she is probably learning english right now. I haven’t heard her speaking english for 10 mins. :) Yummy, can I ask a favor?

LYF = Liu Yi Fei… not LYI. She’s speaking decent English… and from what I see it’s likely to be a Chinese movie.

I only saw her in one of the videos in youtube speaking english, and I must say she has to improve it, though I don’t know what year it was. hehe :) Anyway, can you post here the profile of Jeong Ryeo Won? Yes! I just read on one of the major Chinese newspapers that it is CONFIRMED that Yifei will be playing the princess and Li Bingbing the villian. Almost can’t believe it: Yifei’s not even 20 yet but she gets to be with the double J. Wow 2 action superstars AND my favorite actress together on the big screen WOOOOHOOOOO!
