Kirsten Dunst Biography
Daughter of a German and Norwegian descent, Kirsten started as a fashion model for TV commercials since she was 3. It’s said that she appeared in over 70 commercials over the years.
Kirsten Dunst made her movie debut in 1989 with “New York Stories,” and starred in some short appearances for movies and TV dramas.
Kirsten’s breakthrough came in 1994 with “Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles,” starring alongside the likes of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.
Kirsten Dunst continued to make film with “Little Women” (1994), “Jumanji” (1995) and “Small Soldiers” (1998) etc. Kirsten is one of the very few child stars that successfully make the transition into an A-list celebrity.
Kirsten’s adult breakthrough came in 2002, starring as Mary Jane Watson in the blockbuster movie “Spiderman.” She also starred in “Spiderman 2″ (2004) and “Spiderman 3″ (2007*).
Other noticeable movies that Kirsten starred in include “Mona Lisa Smile” (2003), “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” (2004) and “Marie Antoinette” (2006).
Why I like Kirsten Dunst
I noticed Kirsten Dunst since Interview with the Vampire; and then in Jumanji and Little Soldiers. I always thought that she’s a cute and talented teenage actress.
Spiderman was probably the major transition for her as she grown into adulthood as a beautiful woman. I don’t think she’s stunningly beautiful though; she looks good in some angles but not always.
Kirsten Dunst attracts me with her acting mostly. I love Mona Lisa Smile, I think it’s a great movie and Kirsten did very well in it. She got potential, I believe in times to come Kirsten will be one of the most influential Hollywood actresses.

Wow, very cool yummy! Kirsten is one of my favorite actresses. I personally think she’s very sexy and cute. Her bright blue eyes just make my knees weak sometimes, lol. Plus she’s got kind of a cute and classical look at the same time to me. She’s one actress of a few that I would love to meet in person if the opportunity arose. I’m attracted also, to what appears to be her bubbly, friendly personality.
Yes, “Interview With a Vampire” is where I first saw her. That was also when she had her first onscreen kiss at age 12 with Brad Pitt. ( LOL, I bet there were jealous 22 year olds who would have loved to be in her place)
When I really took note of her, was in Sophia Coppola’s independent film, “The Virgin Suicides”. (Which was a good movie) and also in “Dick” (which was not a good movie. lol, but I noticed her). The movie “Bring It On” was actually a surprise hit for her and brought her some recognition. Most thought it was going to be just another shallow teen movie but the critics actually gave it a thumbs up. Another movie I saw her in was the “Cat’s Meow” which is one of my favorites and which I thought she was very sexy in. It’s a murder suspense flick where she plays a high society playgirl who gets caught in a love triangle on a ship cruise back in the 30’s. She’s really good in it.
Then, as you say when “Spiderman” came out that really made for famous. (Looks great as a red-head by the way. She also wears a beautiful burgundy-colored Chinese Cheongsam (Qipao, 旗袍) in one scene, which really caufght my attention. She’s actually kind of famous for wearing that dress in the movie and it caugt the attention of many people. She really looked good in it.
I am definitly waiting with anticipation for “Spiderman III” to come out. I think it will be the last one. I’ve yet to see “Marie Antoinette” but I’m anxious to.

A few details about Kirsten’s Mom and Dad. Her Dad’s name is Klaus who was a German medical services executive from Hamburg. Her Mother Inez is from Norway (Norweigian) and was a former Art Gallery owner.
(Norway is on the border of Sweden, Finland and Russia.)

I went to see 300 this last weekend and saw the preview for the new Spiderman movie. It REALLY looks good. :) Special effects are gonna be awesome I think. Can’t wait. opens May 4th.

It’s sad that these kids who become strars have all these problems. Kirsten’s is alcohol related I believe. The paparazzi are the worst they’ve ever been in showbiz these days. These stars have NO privacy when they go out. They are basically prisoners in their homes.
There’s actually been a bill introduced in the US congress called the “Britney Bill” to try and put limits on how much these animal photographers can infringe on people’s privacy. They’s gotten to the point of being dangerous to the stars and they stop at nothing. The industry along with these paparazzi dogs eventually put enough pressure on these people and their daily lves that they drive them to drinking and drugs. And the young stars are most vunerable.
Heath Ledger’s death was an overdose of perscription pain killers, which is what alot of what these young celebrities are hooked on nowadays.

Nowadays it’s not just the professionals… everyone on the streets have become paparazzi these days because of the advance gadgets.
Most youngster would carry a camera phone with them and would probably try to catch a photo or two on the celebs… to be fair it’s a common nature of common people… most of them probably have no bad intentions towards any of the celebs… whereas some people are trying to catch the worse response or behavior of the celebs and post it online or sell to paparazzi…
A decade ago the celebs could still find some place where they could hide from the paparazzi… these days there are hardly any places that they could enjoy their private time… as long as there are people around, there will be cameras around.
