The mysterious man who’s Zhang Ziyi’s latest boyfriend finally revealed… he is Aviv ‘Vivi’ Nevo, an Israeli and one of the richest man in New York.
There are some early speculations about “who is the man?” Some said he is a French actor, some said he is a neighbour of US president George Bush… but the latest Chinese reports indicate that he is indeed New York investment mogul Vivi Nevo.
I bet Vivi Nevo is fast becoming China #1 public enemy after the release of this photo lol…
A bit more about Vivi Nevo… he is a venture capitalist, one of the largest shareholders of Time Warner (one of the largest media firm in the world); he was spotted going out with Kate Moss (UK supermodel) and rumored to be seeing Jeisa Chiminazzo (Brazilian supermodel).
Reports also said that Vivi Nevo is just 41, but he sure looks much older than that… he needs a stylist and some plastic surgery seriously if he’s just 41.

ZHANG ZIYI `s English is considered quite good (after having lessons) if you have heard her speak on TV with foreign reporters. Now she has plenty of chances to perfect her american accent English with this new boyfriend.Even if the romance wont last, she will have achieved her much wanted publicity for having a rich boyfreind, more still, an American who brings her to all the high society parties etc. and possibly get to Hollywood movie producers…. I am sure she plots everything to get what she wants to fulfil her ambition even if she has to whore herself .

Zhang Ziyi was dumped by the previous Hong Kong boyfriend( from a well-known and rich family) due to the family pressure of the guy.She is known in Hong Kong as a slut and a gold digger. She is a mean and scheming person and hard to get along even on the set.So do not be fooled by her pretty face.
She must be satisfied now showing off to the world that she is not lack of attention as far as men is concerned to get over the humiliation of being dumped, even this Vivo dude is as ugly as a toad.Surely she is only making use of him to get free pubilicity. More news worthy–because he is a caucasian.

ZiYi is not only beautiful,and also a great actress and I am proud that she is also Chinese! She has a great career and now a very handsome boyfriend whom she seems to be very happy with, I am very happy for her! I am sure all we Chinese are happy for her to be doing so well!

I think Ziyi is really smart to have him as a boyfriend. He’s powerful, rich, and treats her like a princess. Also, he seems to have changed dramatically after going out with her. Vivi used to never allow media to focus on him but now with Ziyi, he goes everywhere with her. They seem really in love and I’m proud of Ziyi.

Some points to be made.
Firstly, thanks Apple! that information is enlightening on this topic–Zhang Ziyi is seeking not only money but is a publicity whore (different from just fame), to the point where even the Hong Kong tabloids know about her behavior and probably tire of her (that takes a lot), and for her to get more attention she just makes her golddigging target an american.
How do you know they are in love? (this is responding to the observation “gongzhenya” made) She’s an actress, even if she’s nothing great, she can pretend to be in love easily, just letting such an old creepy rich guy be with her is enough to convince him. She also has experience dating old men that can offer her connections.
Ah yes, Gong Li (mentioned by someone above), she was a respected actress, and publicly refused to do Hollywood movies because she was in critically acclaimed movies from China (different from Hong Kong movies), and because Hollywood would give her roles that made Chinese look bad. Well, her debut was in Miami Vice, where she played a whore. Nice going. What kind of roles were offered to her before if she finally makes her american debut with this whore role?
If you are Chinese, how can you be proud of her? (to “Anonymous, A Proud Chinese” and some others) She is Chinese, but she is selling herself out. What is there to be proud of? Her success? Her success in being what? A whore? Is this what you want for the Chinese or Asian image altogether? There is nothing to be proud of, it is disgusting.
For your comment about betrayal “Yummy,” it is more than that, it is more complex, read the sites below. It is not ‘betrayal’ but moreso the whoring of herself, her image, it has nothing to do wtih ‘ownership’ “karena.” It is about the caucasian media representation of asian women and the Asian male and much more. You can see that whoever “kismetology” is, also likes to play on the idea the idea of this slavery to Asia:

And anyways, even if this were not a political matter in terms of culture, and caucasian media representations, everybody agrees that she is just whoring herself out. If she was not Chinese, and was just caucasian, the answer would be the same, so “No.” This is not just a matter of that ‘betrayal’.
This stain on her image is just too bad, as her roles in Hollywood movies are generally alright, even though she is mean to fans as “JC” has experienced.
“Anonymous,” if you are Chinese, if my words sound harsh, it is because you should seek more information in these matters. What I mention about the Chinese image goes for “karena” (or are you also a sellout and are supporting ziyi’s actions on the premise of representing Chinese?) also. \

I saw a lot of jealousy and hypocrisy in some of the posts. If she date the guy because he is rich, well good for her. Even though i ‘m not her fan ( nor I am a fan type of person), I watch some of her movie and think she ’s a good actress and frankly that’s the most important point and not what she should do with her love life ( nor anyone else business for that matter). As for a Chinese girl, I really feel happy for Ziyi. LOVE is the most important thing in life, no matter where you come from or who you are. Everyone must understand Movie Stars they are normal human being, they eat, they shit, they love, they hate. Don’t enlarge it to something you are jealoous with. But no matter what, if a woman succeeded, everyone will think she is “digging” hard, must crossed “The River of Man”. In fact, this way of thinking is so mean. In stead of cursing Ziyi and Aviv, we should bless them having a good result.
I hope by the end, she will conquer the Jewish family like she conquered HOLLYWOOD. Anyway, kosher is not so delisious !

I am a chinese women. I am not surprised at all when I saw the news she is dating a white guy. Zhang Zi Yi is a notorious whore in China. She sold herself to gain what she wanted even when she was a little girl. I doubt any good Chinese man will be willing to marry her. I guess non-Chinese will be a better choice for her since they don’t know anything about her past and what a person she is. Anyway, that is her personal life and her choice.
