Korean pop star Rain received his first souvenior from Hong Kong… a speeding ticket from the Hong Kong traffic police.

To be precise, it’s Rain’s driver that’s getting the ticket.
It happened on Thursday (January 11) when Rain and his crews were on their way to AsiaWorld-Expo, where he is going to held his HK concert on January 12-14, and his car was caught speeding on the famous Tsing Ma Bridge.

LOL, that’s just funny I sorry. I guess he and his ‘driver’ think having his picture on his plane with wings on his back gives them a license to “fly” down the highway so to speak.

Hi Yummy, That’s a Lexus. It’s a very high dollar expensive car. Lexus is the luxury automobile division of Toyota. Alot of rich people drive them! Supposed to be one of the better made cars also.

Yes, it’s similar to the way GM (General Motors) has several sub-brands like Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, and Hummer.
Same with Ford Motor Company. They have Lincoln ,Mercury, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Land Rover of Great Britain, Volvo of Sweden, and part ownership of Mazda.
All these different brands sometimes have their own logos also. The carmaker does this to market to different classes of buyers, such as midsize, luxury, outdoor off road etc. It’s all an attempt to grab a share of the market in all these levels of buyers.
Alot of carmakers do this nowadays. There’s alot of competition in the auto industry, especially with people not spending as much because of gas prices. They have to cater to as many types of people as possible.
The next phase that’s already being talked about in some areas is alot of these major carmakers merging together. For example, since Toyota just passed up Ford as the number 2 automaker behind GM, I can easily see Ford eventually being bought by Toyota.

Oh, by the way, I liooked up Toyota and the brands they carry include Scion and Lexus. Toyota also owns majority stakes in Daihatsu and Hino, and smaller portions of Subaru and Isuzu Motors.
