Rainie Yang is retiring from “Guess Guess Guess,” one of Taiwan’s top variety shows that she co-hosted since 2002.
Rainie recorded her last show on January 8 (Monday), alongside veteran host Jacky Wu and guest-hostess Alice…
The show has helped Rainie to achieve superstar status these days, but Rainie had to leave the show as her acting and music career are booming and consuming all her time.
Rainie is the 2nd long-term hostess to leave the show recently; artist A-Ya had left the show a few months ago to further study in US. There’s no news who is going to replace Rainie… actually I think they haven’t even found a permanent replacement for A-Ya yet.

Rainie is SO cute and sexy. Like her alot. Can’t wait to see what she is going to be involved in the comming year(s) musically and on screen sfter she leaves this show. Intersting that A-Ya left to study in the U.S. Hmmm, sure are alot of people flocking to the U.S. to go to school once they’ve achieved stardom in other countries. (example: Liu Yi Fei).
Anyway, does Rainie already have a College degree? If not, maybe she should go to the U.S. also, I sure she’d be popular sight on campus. lol. Very very pretty girl and great personality!

People like A-Ya and Yifei has been in entertainment industry since teen-age… perhaps they want to find something that’s missing from their life.
Rainie doesn’t have a college degree; she self-admitted that she didn’t like studying (but like reading books), so I doubt she will be interested to further studies… maybe a few weeks short courses, but not like a degree or something.

I think it’s smart for them to get education if they want it, especially while they are young, can afford it, and before they get too far along in showbiz. At least it won’t hurt anything. But then again, a degree these days don’t count for a whole lot like it used to anyway. It;s more for like you say, something miissing in an individual’s life.. Which is just fine. I believe Rainie will do OK, whatever she does. Good luck to her :)

I Love Rainie!! I am so sad when i knew she retire for ‘Guess guess guess’.. She try her very best to perform in that show n she is straight forward not like some other celebrities.. however one of th reason that she left the show is a lot of ppl complain and scold Rainie through the net. Well wat to do, ppl who are jealous of rainie will find a lot of way to hurt her..
Anyway, all i wish is tht rainie can be stepping even higher so that those ‘ppl’ who hurt her will regret…

Christine, I can’t agree that she left the show bcoz of net criticism. Mpst of her critics are from China, but I believe Taiwanese still very supportive of her.
Perhaps it’s time for Rainie to focus on other part of her career, acting and singer.
Btw her replacements are pretty cool, Selina and Hebe from S.H.E are back to the show.

I haven’t seen pictures of Rainie since her Meteor Garden days, and she looks different now - loads fairer and more glam. She looks great!

Rainie is cute and all… but I personally don’t think she was that great of a host… well, she improved a great deal and kudos to that!
Anyhow, i still support rainie in all of her endeavors.. and i’m sure we’ll miss her from the show… but this will just mean more time for her to improve on her acting and singing skills and to impress/surprise us!
