Hong Kong artist Cathy Tsui Chi Kei married Lee Ka Shing, the 2nd son of wealthy businessman Lee Shau Kee.
Lee Shau Kee is the founder of Henderson Land Development Company Limited, with an estimated personal wealth of US$9.3 billion (according to Forbes 2005, that’s US$9,300,000,000). He is the 3rd wealthiest man in Hong Kong, and his son is going to succeed some of his wealth for sure.
The newly wed held their luxurious wedding at Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney, Australia. The couple will be on a long honeymoon around the world; Cathy got the leisure to joke that they will be back only in 2008.
It’s also said that Lee Shau Kee has gave all of his staffs at Henderson a HK$10,000 bonus to celebrate the wedding… it’s good to be rich, or at least it’s good to have a very rich boss lol.
