Korea actress Son Ye-jin won the best actress award at the 51st Asia Pacific Film Festival, which was held on last Friday (November 24) in Taipei, Taiwan.
Son Ye-jin won the award with movie “April Snow,” beating favorite China actress Zhou Xun in “Perhaps Love.” A good recognition for Son Ye-jin, congrats to her.
Zhou Xun was not too disappointed though; Zhou Xun won the prestigious Golden Horse award a day later, which Son was not able to take part because it’s limited to Chinese productions.

congrats to my lovely son ye jin! my country’s movies also compete for the award but i am really happy when son ye jin wins it. Son ye jin, you deserve it. I watched April Snow in cinemas and VCD and absolutely you able to bring the character excellently.

i watched april snow,,i feel boring &slow in acting oopppss sorry but thats how i feel,,i dont think son yejin will be awarded in that movie..oh my goodness..

Korean movies are mostly slow in tempo… I actually thinks that Son Ye-jin acts better in another movie “A Moment To Remember.” Still I’m happy that she won.

She is always busy these days… since Summer Scent she starred in lots of other dramas and movies. Not sure about her latest project, but I guess she is doing some filming.
