Movie “Battle of Wits” premieres in Beijing on November 16, with the attendance of the director Jacob Zhang and main cast of Andy Lau, Ahn Sung-ki, Wang Zhiwen, Fan Bingbing, Nicky Wu, Choi Si-won etc.
The movie is a joint production from China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea; and is one of the anticipated movies of the year.
The story is based on a Japanese manga, adapted from the ancient China in 350 B.C. The story plots revolve the war era when China was separated by 7 nations and other small tribes. The nation of Zhao was launching an attack on nation of Liang; and the only hope of Liang’s survival lies on one man, named Ge Li (played by Andy Lau).
The movies will show lots of battle, strategy and action; with a bit of fictional and fantasies (the movie is based on manga after all).
Trivia - Leading actor Andy Lau and movie director Jacob Zhang were class mate 20 years ago in TVB acting school.
