Ariel Lin Yi Chen Biography
Ariel Lin was given major role since her debut in 2002 drama, “True Love.” Ariel continued to star in “Secret Garden” and “Seventh Grade,” and steadily building her fame and popularity.
Ariel Lin still continued her university study while making all the dramas and managed to graduate from NCCU.
Ariel Lin co-starred Mike He in “Love Contract” (2004) and with Joseph Zheng in “It Started With a Kiss” (2005). Both the melodramas were a hit, and Ariel become one of the most popular TV actresses in Taiwan.
Ariel Lin then starred in popular dramas “Fairy from Wonderland” and acclaimed drama “Tokyo Juliet” in 2006. Fairy from Wonderland was hugely popular in China and Ariel is getting more famous in Asia region.
Ariel Lin also starred in 2 movies and sang a few songs in the dramas’ OST, but her singing venture is not as successful as her TV acting career.
Ariel Lin is currently filming the sequel for for ISWAK; she is also supposed to be filming “The Legend of Condor Heroes” in China but the filming was postphoned because the leading actor (Hu Ge) is recovering from a car accident.

For Ariel, mostly from her official website, same like the others. Most of the Asian stars only have their official websites in Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc, what I did is mostly translation.
I have a few friends that help me in translation for Korean and Japanese from some other official sites as well, so the info should be pretty accurate.

Actually… I understand what Anti Ariel is talking about. Yummy, that’s not death cursing(if your asking)it’s just noncense. You see, my friend, Sora’s, grandma is kinda like a witch doctor cause in the “kampung”, she heals the sick and old, and when Sora say this she took a sample of it and gave it to her granma. ARIEL LIN is the first Taiwanese Actress that I do relaly appreciate ehr performance. She may not be that extremely beautifull but she’s one star when do performsn stands out among the rest. She has what it takes to have an X-FACTOR that everyone will stop to see her. Others may view her as under rated star but in the near future this taiwanese actress will create a hsitory of her own in the field of entertainment.
ARIEL LIN I can very well comapre to one of the fave Korean Actress HAJIWOn who is being recognized after playing supporting roles and is reaping her performance from various awards being receiving and the most sought actress in some of the series.. Ariel Lin is still pretty popular in Taiwan, her latest series “Tokyo Juliet” is doing pretty well.
That’s nothing much about her lately… Ariel is rather low profile artist, not fighting for media exposure.
I never heard of her singing mistake, but I am not surprised. Ariel is a good actress for sure, but I always felt that she can’t sing well.

I like her a lot in the film “it started with a kiss”… She portrays Xiang Qin very well as she act like she is really “dumb”. I like how she cries, her “hair style”, her simple clothes her whole personality. Well, many comments in other website says that Xiang Qin and Ariel Lin where totally different person. But she still manage to act good even when she and her character in the film where different.

I was able to watched two of her series.”Started with a Kiss with Joe Cheng and “Tokyo Juliet with Wu Chun. She has good chemistry with both guys. She was born actress (those 2 lucky guys) I really don’t know anything about chinese actress and actors but I really love Ariel paired only with either Wu Chun or Joe Cheng. When i first saw ariel, i didn’t find ariel cute at all and wonders why she got the role with joe…after watching ISWAK, her image changes from ugly to beautiful because i feel a light from her, a happiness or maybe her true effort….her role in ISWAK is sometime annoying and too dumb but after learning more about the ‘real Ariel’, I really like her more then Rainie and other actresses because Ariel is a amazing actress, when i look at her pixs, and the way she smiles, it’s not a fake smile like Rainie and so is her fashion sense which is way better then Rainie’s so Ariel will be my #1 favorite actress forever! Welcome back home Ariel!! Actually, I have never seen you in person but i am going to try my level best to have a glimpse of you and your autograph which i can keep rest of my life. However, i must tell you that i am younger than you by few years that means I am just a baby as per the psychological survey result which you believe ehehehhe.
Anyway, i really wish to listen your song and will wait for that. In someday, may god allow be kind enough to let me have a glimpse of you. Ya, by the way i am trying hard to do my post graduate from Cheng shi University hehehe. If i am lucky i can come there and see you else i will have to go some other place which will be very far away from here.

Hi! This is the first time I’ve ever done this – post a testimonial on a website but I strongly believe that when somebody is really that good they should really be told so. That’s why here I am just to tell you Ms. Ariel Lin that you are such a fabulous actress. I’ve seen a couple of your dramas/ soaps already and I was really impressed with your acting skills. I was hooked into asian movies and dramas for some time now, and although some people said that other actresses are way better looking than you but I think they’re nothing compared to you. You are so talented and you can definitely put the character you are playing to life without looking and sounding forced or too trying hard, you are such a natural. To add to that, you are also partnered with somebody who suits you fabulously. I never believed in chemistry before, but you and Joe Chang sure has an abundance of that. Not every couple on screen can feel so right no matter how good looking they may be. Rainie Yang and Mark He for one. They both look cute and face value wise compatible but sparks just don’t fly when they try to be cuddly and loving, it’s just not the same as you and Joe Chang. I hope that the romance you display on the big screen can become a reality and that you can be as happy and successful in your love life as with your career. I am really looking forward to hearing that you’ve tied the knot Ms. Lin to a guy who deserves such a talented and smart girl like you. More power!
