Actress Kim Tae-hee become Korea’s highest paid comestic product ambassador after signing a 5-year contract with HERA in August.
The contract is worth 5billion Korean Won (~USD5million) and it’s a rare occassion for a company to sign a product ambassador for such a long term deal.
Hong Kong veteran actor Kwan Hoi Shan (关海山, 1925-2006) passed away on Monday morning.
Kwan started acting in 1950s in old Canto-movies, and started acting in TV drama when he joined TVB in 1976. Throughout his acting career, Kwan appeared in over 100 movies and TV dramas.
Kwan had worked with lots of superstars like Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fatt, Tony Leung, Stephen Chow, Maggie Cheung etc.

It’s amazing how a ’singer’ can be that popular without releasing a proper album. Li YuChun won the Idol like contest last year, wins millions of fans, have her own stamp released, featured on Times magazine and held a concert.. all that before she released her own original album.

Steve Irwin, the famous Aussie “Crocodile Hunter” was killed by a stingray barb during filming an underwater documentary on the Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Queensland.
The initial news is that Steve was killed by a stingray barb which pierced his chest, a freaky marine accident indeed.
Steve is only the 3rd person that passed away being stung by a stingray in Australia.
