Hong Kong largest TV production studio TVB is rumored to be signing Taiwan heartthrob Mike He Jun Xiang to star in future Hong Kong Cantonese-series.
TVB is the largest exporter of Hong Kong TV dramas which can be seen across Asia and in Australia, US and Canada.
Seeing that Mike He’s Taiwan TV drama “Devil Beside You” was well received in Hong Kong and other Chinese region, TVB are making a bold move to sign the actor.
TVB are having some problems to find new acting talents lately, with most of their main contracted actors and actress reaching their 30s.
TVB themselves are denying their shortage of young artist, but with the recent growth in mainland China, TVB are not having enough popular stars to penetrate the China market.
Mike He might just be the first, if his Hong Kong venture proved to be successful, we could see more Taiwan actors and actress acting in Cantonese TV drama in the future.

mike should have rainie in more of his drama. I think he match the look in devil beside you alot. With the torn up jean and the bobby pin but i really did’nt like the white circle on his back ( It not really that bad though).
He should be in more movie where he ’s the bad boy. He so cute and good with the bad boy look and act.

i dont think he should sign with hong kong because how will i understand what hes saying in his cantonese shows… and besides what if he dosent speak cantonese… unless he does?

There’s always voice actor that will ’speak’ Cantonese on his behalf, else Mike will just have to learn Cantonese like many other Taiwan stars that make their name in Hong Kong.

i think mike should think of acting in taiwanese show!!!! anyway…. they should also consider making DEVIL BESIDE YOU 2….. i think tat many ppl would hope to see wat happen to ah meng and xiao yue…. and see whether is there anymore obstacle in their way…. DEVIL BESIDE YOU’s ending was ok…. but not perfect…. it ends so sudden without giving any explanation…… i was hoping that they would show more of it like how they live together and stuff…… the ending is more like… oh ah meng comes back from italy n see xiao yue and they hug each other. thats it… thats the ending…. anyway the show was and is nice…..

Mike He has got to be one of the finest guy in the whole wide world…He is so fine! Whenever I see him, I can’t stop smiling…I am totally in love with this guy!
