Hepburn’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s black dress on auction

Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany'sThe black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 classic “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” will go on auction in December to raise fund for charity.

The dress was designed by Hubert de Givenchy and Holly Golightly (played by Audrery Hepburn) is seen in the dress in the opening scene of the movie.

The dress will be auctioned at Christie’s, in London’s upmarket South Kensington on December 5, 2006.

It’s expected to raise between £50,000 and £70,000 for “City of Joy Aid” which helps under-privileged people in India.

Although I wasn’t borned yet when Breakfast at Tiffany’s was first played, I always like Audrey Hepburn in movies, whom I think is/was one of the most elegant actress ever.
