South Korea boy-band “Tong Vfang Xien Qi” (TVXQ) kickstart their “Rising Sun 1st Asia Tour” on Friday (July 14) at Putra Indoor Stadim Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

More than 6000 fans were entertained by the Korean pop sensations, the 1st ever Korean pop group to hold a concert in Malaysia. Some of the fans were from overseas like Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Thailand etc.

Concert special guest 13-member Korea boy-band group, “Super Junior” opened the concert. TVXQ then entertained the fans with 23 hit songs and dazzling dances.

The crowd, mostly girls, enjoyed the concert and screamed for 2 long hours supporting their idol.

TVXQ (or TVfXQ) are often regarded as “Dong Bang Shin Ki” (????) in Korea and T?h?shinki (????) in Japan. The name of the boy band generally means ‘Gods rising from the East’, and are currently one of the Asia’s hottest pop act.

The 5 members of TVXQ are HERO, 20, (Kim Jae-joong), U-Know, 20, (Jung Yun-ho), Micky, 20, (Park Yoo-chun), Xiah, 19, (Kim Jun-su) and MAX, 18, (Shim Chang-min).

TVXQ were formed in 2004 after a nationwide audition.
