Tennis sweatheart Maria Sharapova crashed out of Roland Garros, lost to Dinara Safina in the 4th round of the French open.
It’s pretty much a shocker as Sharapova was leading the final set 5-1 and eventually lost it 5-7 to Safina. The final result is 7-5, 2-6, 7-5 in Safina’s favor.
Maria Sharapova was disappointed with the result, she’s probably not match fit as this is the first tournament for her since early April.. Sharapova was rested for 2 months for her right ankle injury.
Arhh too bad, the French Open tv rating will be drop by a few points without Sharapova perhaps.
