“The Banquet” or “Ye Yan” is one of Asia biggest production in 2006, directed by Feng Xiao-Gang and feature stars like Zhang Ziyi, Ge-You, Daniel Wu, Zhou Xun and Huang Xiao-Ming.
The Banquet revolves around revenge, lust, power and battle. It will be a martial art pack movie with a suspense story plot, said to be a loose adaptation of Hamlet.
With a strong technical team and some of the best actors and actress in China, The Banquet will be a movie to watch for in 2006.
