Chinese pop diva Faye Wong gave birth to a healthy baby girl on Saturday morning (May 27) at Beijing, China.
The 36 year old superstar singer and actress gave birth to the 8.8 pound baby by Caesarean section at Beijing’s XieHe Hospital (also known as Peking Union Medical College Hospital).
This is Faye Wong first baby with current hubby China actor Li Ya-Peng, 34. This is however Faye’s 2nd baby, her first baby was a daughter (borned 1997) with ex-husband, rocker Dou Wei.
Faye Wong was one of the most popular Asian singer in the 90s, and was a popular actress as well. Although not as famous as her peak, Faye remains one of the most influential figure in Chinese entertainment world.
The baby’s girl is unannounced yet, well regardless.. Congrats to Faye Wong and Li YaPeng!
