Troubled pop star Michael Jackson plans to make his first public appearance in almost a year since his acquittal trial last June, by attending a ceremony in Tokyo to accept MTV Japan’s “Legend Award.”
Michael Jackson has been living in Bahrain since his acquittal on child molestation charges in Santa Maria, California. During this period he had been rumored with financial difficulties and his Neverland theme park was facing possibility of shutting down.
Anyhow Michael Jackson will be in the award ceremony on Saturday at Yoyugi Olympic Stadium, Tokyo, Japan. His spokeswoman also said that the star plans to visit orphanages and tour the cityand possibly meet with members of the Asian business community during his trip.
Michael Jackson is having plans to visit Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong after his Japan trip.
