Accidental Idol William Hung make it to the news again, this time he is crowned as the “Artichoke King” in Castroville, a small city in California that calls itself “artichoke capital of the world.”
William Hung, 23, the American Idol reject that make Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs” (in)famous will be singing in Sunday’s parade of Castroville Artichoke Festival.
The festival features an artichoke eating contest, music and plenty of artichokes for sale.
According to the organizers it’s an attention gimmick to named William Hung the Artichoke King, and looks like their trick is working, the festival are gettinig exposure from some mainstream media.
