Song Hye-kyo Biography
When Song Hye-kyo was born, she was sick and her parents and doctor thought she would never make it. Miraculously Hye-kyo survived and her parents only registered her birth on February 26, 1982.
Song Hye-kyo was introduced into the entertainment world when she won the MTM model contest in 1996 and started appearing on some TV shows; she was just 15.
Song Hye-kyo breakthrough was in 2000 with popular TV drama “Autumn In My Heart” (also known as “Autumn Tale” or “Endless Love”) starring alongside Song Seung-hun and Won-bin.
Not only did she become one of the most popular actresses in Korea, the sad-romance drama swept across Asia… Song Hye-kyo and her co-actors became Asian superstar.
Song Hye-kyo starred in another Asian hit South Korean TV drama “Hotelier” in 2001 and once again won her fans with her performance in 2003 with “All In,” where she met Lee Byung-hun and started a relationship that ended in 2005.
Song Hye-kyo co-starred with rising Korean pop-singer Rain (Bi) in 2004 TV drama “Full House” and unsurprisingly, she won the heart of Asian fans once again.
Song Hye-kyo is also a popular face for TV commercials, and she starred her first movie in 2005 “My Girl and I” with Cha Tae-hyun. Her movie adventure was however not as successful as her TV adventure, but she is not giving up.
Song Hye-kyo has just finished filming her latest movie based on the real life story of a 16th century kisaeng, “Hwang Jin-i.”

Song Hye-kyo is probably not the love-at-first-sight type of girl, but the more you see her, the more you will like her.
I think Song Hye-kyo is pleasantly beautiful, and has the kind of girl-next-door feeling. Her popularity is not solely on her appearance, she is well known for her acting performance.

I came to know Song Hye Gyo when I first watched Endless Love. I was so attracted to her that I started to watch almost every of the show that she acted. I also watched her first movie My Girl recently. I think she is the only Korean actress that I like most. Hope she can act more TV serials. Wish her all the best in her life and acting.

Song Hye-kyo and Liu Yi Fei are so different.. Hye-kyo is already an established actress, while Yi Fei are still new and improving.
Both of the star do have a refreshing look.. the kind of face that probably still look good without makeup.

Full House was a very sweet movie. Song Hye_kyo was so charming and Rain .. very cute. First time viewing a Korean movie, I enjoyed it very much. Would you please give me a list of other movies she is in.

hye kyo song is beautiful, intelligent, talented, and most likely has a big heart. it shows in the way she acts. she’s very versitle too. she can be sad and crying in one drama, then mad and joking around in another. she’s one of my many favorite korean actresses, although my number 1 choice is choi ji woo. still, i’m a big fan of hers and i wish much success and hapiness and hope to see her in new dramas and movies.

hi every one, the first series i watched is “Full House” and it just so seriously funny, i love song hye kyo since then and started to watch her other series such as “autumn in my heart’ and “all-in”, they’re both fantastic and touching. Endless Love is the TV drama that opened the Asian market for Korean entertainment, it will always be a classic. Song Hye-kyo still have that baby-fat in Enless Love lol..

wow, eversince Song Hye Kyo has been my no.1 favorite Korean actor. the first time i watched Endless Love, it never leaved my mind, it is damn beatiful. everytime i watched it, it made me cry…

i do not wish she makes a movie with Jackie Chan (sry) because everytime an actress does a movie with him, they get rumours. and plus, to be honest, Jackie Chan is such an hypocrite, 90% HK ppl hates him (i’m from the U.S but i know it). he has an affair with Elaine Ng, she’s pregnant and it’s proven the baby’s his, and Mr.Chan doesn’t do anything about it besides saying “I did something wrong that every man would’ve done”. also about a month and a half ago, he’s drunk and just disturbs his friend’s (Johnny Lee) concert for 20 mins cursing at the audience and after that his reaction to it was “i’m not a saint, ppl view me as a saint” meaning it wasn’t a problem to just charge up on somebody’s concert and scold the audience. story ends here now, there will be more news of Mr.Chan in the future….sry to all his fans i just have to blab it out.

Woman will look beautiful in different way when they grow in age. Teenagers like Yi Fei can look cute, woman like Hye-kyo will have to look more mature.. and when they move into 30s they will have to be elegant and smart etc.
As always, beauty is hardly comparable, especially if the people are from different age and culture group. And it’s always just personal opinions when if come to defining beauty, no point denying other’s preference.

Full House is Song Hye-Kyo’s first series I saw and she was able to pull even an older audience (me) into her world of TV drama. Who wouldn’t fantasize about reaching out and helping that poor soul. The character she portrayed is so adorable and memorable.
