Kenix Kwok Ho Ying Biography
Kenix Kwok Ho Ying was a finalist in 1993 Miss Hong Kong Pageant. Although she didn’t make it to the top 3, Hong Kong TV production studio TVB saw her potential and hired her.
Kenix Kwok is a talented actress and as a newbie she was given enough chance to perform on screen and was given leading role very soon after she joined TVB. Kenix didn’t disappoint the company, the TV audiences love her and Kenix gained popularity rapidly.
Kenix’s first appearance was in “Glittering Moment,” followed by numerous highly rated TV series such as “A Kindred Spirit,” “Detective Investigation Files I-III,” “At the Threshold of An Era,” “Shine on You,” “Love Bond,” “A Pillow Case of Mystery” and “Ten Brothers” etc.
Kenix starred in a few movies as well but did not achieve the success like TV dramas.
In 2004 Kenix Kwok married fellow TVB actor Frankie Lam after 10 years of romance.
Why I like Kenix Kwok Ho Ying
I grew up watching TVB drama series, and Kenix Kwok was (probably still is) one of the best TV actress during her era. Kenix is pretty, and she possesses the kind of charm that makes people like her.

Kenix has changed her contract with TVB, I am not sure about the details but she’s not a fully contracted TVB artist now. That means we will not see Kenix that often in TVB series, but Kenix can star more in other non-TVB projects.
In fact Kenix is filming her latest series in Shanghai, and if not mistaken it’s not related to TVB.

actually, Kenix was only a TVB managed artist for the first 2-3 years of her early career. after that, she only signed per series contract. since finishing the show Living Up, i have not heard about Kenix renewing her contract with TVB yet. however, the contract is not expired until early 2007.
Kenix & Frankie had signed a management contract with a mainland company, but she said that this wont interfere with her TVB contract. if TVB offers a good role, she’ll come back to film. it is likely that we’ll see her in TVB series in the near future.
her latest series Red Powder is a mainland project, not related to TVB. her partner is Chilam & the series is due to air in January 2007.
