It’s the 26th Annual Razzies Awards! An award that no actors, actresses or celebrities would like to be ‘honored’ with.
Just a day before the Oscar Awards presentation, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation will honor not the best, but the worst performance of the year for the movie industry.
This year former Playboy playmate Jenny McCarthy is the big ‘winner’. As the star, writer and producer for the film “Dirty Love”, she was named the Worst Actress, Worst Screenplay and Worst Picture.
Dirty Love only managed to claim $58,116, definitely a box office disaster. Jenny’s divorcing husband John Asher was named for the Worst Director and luckily co-star Carmen Electra lost the Worst Supporting Actress to socialite Paris Hilton from “House of Wax”.
Claiming the Worse Actor is Rob Schneider for “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo” and Worse Supporting Actor is Hayden Christensen for “Star Wars: Episode III–Revenge of the Sith”.
Oscar winner Nicole Kidman also managed to add something to her CV.. if she wanted to. Nicole was named Worse Onscreen Couple with Will Ferrell in “Bewitched”.
This year the Razzies conveniently added a new category for the Most Tiresome Tabloid Target Award.. and the winner is.. Tom Cruise: Katie Holmes, Oprah Winfrey’s couch, Eiffel Tower and pregnancy.
Well not suprisingly none of the winners attended the award presentation this year.
Harry Berry last year created some buzz when she personally received the award for her Catwoman performance.. well maybe it’s the name, Berry = Berries = Razzies?

If Dirty Love was just medium bad I don’t think I’d bother watching it. With all these people piling on to say it’s really, really, really bad I’m going to have to see it. The Marx Brothers and the Three Stooges made some pretty horrible stuff that is very funny.
