Chen Hao Biography
Chen Hao was first noticed in China award winning movie “Postman in the Mountains” (那山那人那狗) in 1998. Her young talent was vastly recognized and was giving chances to act in a few other movies and tv dramas.
Chen Hao breakthrough came in 2000/2001 in TV drama “Li Wei Dang Guan” (李卫当官) where she played the popular leading role.
Chen Hao’s fame was spreaded to Taiwan and was offered a role in a 2001 comedy TV drama “Pink Ladies” (粉红女郎) which turned out to be a superhit all across Asia Chinese community.
Chen Hao played one of the leading role in Pink Ladies as a sexy and adorable lady that manipulate the guys, and she managed to capture all the essence and did extremely well.
Chen Hao popularity continues to grow, in 2003 she starred in CCTV’s hit TV drama “Semi-Gods and Demi-Devils” (天龙八部) and her populariy reached sky-high.
Chen Hao ventured into stage performances and singing as well. In 2005 she released her first solo album with the help of Japanese godfather producer Tetsuya Komuro.
Why I like Chen Hao
Chen Hao is beautiful, not the prettiest celebrity but lovely.
Despite famous for perhaps her sexiness, Chen Hao always give me kinda a girl-next-door feeling… perhaps I’m seeing things in a different perspective.
Other than her appearance, Chen Hao is really a great actress, I look forward to see more TV dramas from her.

Chen Hao is very pretty and she can certainly act! Great combination, obviously, for someone who wants to get ahead in the entertainment industry. Unless, of course, you just go out and party up a storm to get famous but not gain any credibility. Hmmm…who can i be talking about? Hahaha. [Hint: she’s way too dyed-blonde for her scalp’s good, and she’s a walking skeleton, oh, and she’s white.] =P

Yupe I like Chen Hao, she’s not the prettiest, probably not the best actress.. but when combining the whole package.. she’s just so lovable.

I love Chen Hao, too, after watching “Li Wei Dang Guan, Great Dun Huang, and Pink Ladies”. Besides Chen Hao’s movie and Tv series mentioned about, please tell me other of her TV series . I was told she will play as a lawyer in a new TV drama, can anyone know what is its title and when will it be released? Did anyone watch another series called “Wo de wu lin nan you ?”, is it good ? Thanks !

You can try “Demi Gods and Semi Devils,” Chen Hao played as supporting but important role, and it’s a pretty good drama.
