Maya Karin (left) is going to Hollywood!
The Malaysian actress, singer and Channel-V VJ will co-host the Oscars’ Road To The Red Carpet show with Hong Kong actor Terence Yin (right) for Star Movies channel, which will air the Oscar live on March 6 (Asia time).
Maya and Terence will have the chance to get up close with Hollywood elites, actors, actress and celebrities on red carpet at the 78th Annual Academy Awards
Terence Yin already have some experience working with some Hollywood stars, like Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider 2 and Jacky Chan in New Police Story.
It’s however an all new experience for Maya Karin. She is hoping to meet Brokeback Mountain director Ang Lee, Datuk Michelle Yeoh (also Malaysian) and Felicity Huffman from Desperate Housewives.
Lets hope that Maya and Terence can produce the chemistry and sparkles needed to light up the show, way to go!

It’s great to see a Malaysian given chances to be on international TV, like Michelle Yeoh and like Maya Karin now. I wish she had a wonderful experience and continue to build a great career.
