2006 BRIT Awards was one Wednesday Feb 15th in London and Paris was there. I mean Paris Hilton the US “socialize” was in the BRIT Awards and she presented the best international album award to Green Day, the crowd loves it when she screamed out “American Idiots”.. lol that was fun.
In my opinion this British music award is not getting the international media coverage that it deserved. I watched part of the show and it was great, nothing less entertaining than US Grammys.
Kaizer Chiefs, Coldplay and James Blunt each won more than 2 awards. Coldplay made the headlines of group splitting when singer Chris Martin announced to the fans that..
You won’t see us for a long time.. people are fed up with us, and so are we
Coldplay later clarified that they just meant to take a long break and has no plans on quitting.

grace.. I agree. The first time I heard of them is from the BRIT awards show and they are quite impressive.
British artist and band should try harder to expand their influence worldwide, they are good but lack the publicity.
