China Chengdu province will be producing stamps with Li Yu Chun face on it. Li Yu Chun is the first China artist to embrace this kind of honor.
Li Yu Chun is the 2005 winner of China SuperGirl singing contest talent show.
Chengdu province is Li Yu Chun’s hometown.
The China SuperGirl contest is like American Idol, with voters deciding the winner. The 2005 show was a great success, with Li Yu Chun getting a total of 3.25 million SMS votes and became the winner.
Li Yu Chun and a few other girls from the SuperGirl show is creating phenomenon since then, never in China entertainment history that created such a popular buzz with their own local celebrities.

First change to give the communists the notion of a democrat vote. Never mind that everyone is charged to make the SMS vote – entire groups of folks are being encourage to sway vote .. how encouraging, since eventually they may even want to vote for their politicians some day.
