International acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma is appointed as the United Nation (UN) peace ambassador.

50 years old Yo-Yo Ma was a Paris borned Chinese, he moved to United States at the age of 7 and was already gaining fame playing cello at his tender age. Yo-Yo Ma’s fame continued to rise and when he graduated from Harvard at age of 20, he was already a world renowned cellist.

Yo-Yo Ma will join boxing legend Muhammad Ali, actor Michael Douglas and others to promote peace around the globe.

Meanwhile on the same nominated list, Brad Pitt missed the cut this time. His ‘good friend’ Angelina Jolie is a goodwill envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
