Charmaine Sheh Sze Man Biography
Charmaine Sheh Sze Man was 2nd runner-up in the Miss Hong Kong 1997 pageant contest and contracted to TVB (Hong Kong largest TV network) since then.
Charmaine Sheh made her first TV series appearance the next year in “Detective Investigation Files IV,” followed by her first leading role in “The Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain” 1999.
Charmaine’s first major success in a TV drama was in 2000 with “Return of The Cuckoo” co-starring Julian Cheung (Chilam), her character in the drama was so bright and cheerful and touched the hearts of many fans.
Charmaine Sheh starred in numbers of TVB drama since then, including an outstanding performance in the highly rated “War and Beauty” in 2004. Charmaine Sheh also acted in a couple of movies, and achieves decent results.
Charmaine Sheh was named the best actress at the TVB annual awards 2006 with “Maidens’ Vow.”
Charmaine Sheh is currently one of the most popular TV actresses in Hong Kong, well known in other Asia region and Chinese community in Western countries as well.

When I first saw Charmaine, I thought her acting needed some major improvements. But then after Perish in the Name of Love and Maiden’s Vow, she instantly became one of my favourite actresses. I’m watching one of her newer series, Glittering Days with Liza Wang and Roger Kwok. Her acting really has improved a lot.

Charmaine has been my favorite actress since FFOSM till to date. Never misses her series. Also like watching reruns series especially WAB, PITNOL, PONR and ROTC.
Has seem her in person in year 2005 when she was in Malaysia for a promo tour and she is so……. pretty and her eyes and smiles really charms.

god, her acting sucks, and so does her voice. one thing i hate, is tvb gives her so many lead roles. my favorite series are spoiled with her presence. i hate it when she cries, her voice is so annoying, and she doesn’t look that pretty either.

cinnamoroll… I actually think that Charmaine is not photogenic. She looks good in drama series but I rarely found any striking pictures of hers.
