Just a day after the premiere of ‘King Kong’ in New York, another much anticipated movie of the year ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ is having its worldwide premiere at Albert Hall in London on Wednesday. Prince Charles and Camilla is expected to grace the event.
It’s quite interesting that ‘King Kong’ is directed by the director of LOTR trilogy, Peter Jackson; while ‘Narnia’ is created by almost the same crew of LOTR, just without the director. So it’s basically the LOTR team working separately in 2 of the most anticipated movies of the year, there is going to be a good competition among them.
By just seeing the movie preview, I am more interested in ‘King Kong’.. it looks so real while ‘Narnia’ looks a bit phony. Those who expect ‘Narnia’ to be something like LOTR might be disappointed, my opinion is that it looks more like a Harry Potter movies than LOTR.
Yet ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ is in my list of movies to watch for December. Have fun!
