Hong Kong pop diva Kelly Chan Wai Lam had attended an opening ceremony in Macau for Mcdonald’s new outlet, the organizer had returned the favor by donating HK$150,000 to “Kelly’s Children Education Fund” (陳慧琳兒童助學基金).
Kelly Chen is one of the most charitable artist in Hong Kong, her fund recently aided a group of South Asian children that reside in Hong Kong to buy winter clothings. According to Kelly the South Asian minorities are having difficulties getting jobs in Hong Kong, and living in poor status, thus aiding them is necessary although it’s not the “Kelly’s Children Education Fund” common policy.

“The Da Vinci Code” the movie is based on the famous Dan Brown’s novel, and is expected to show on May 2006.
Directed by Ron Howard, starring Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen, Paul Bettany and Jean Reno etc.. with the strong cast and crews, “The Da Vinci Code” is expected to be one of the super box office in 2006, as well as favorites for next year movie awards.
Korean superstar Jeon Ji-hyun latest film “Daisy” is expected to premiere in January. “Daisy” is directed by Hong Kong director Andrew Lau Wai Keung, written by Kwak Jae-yong, who directed “Windstruck” (also starred by Jeon Ji-hyun).
Daisy is about a story of showdown between an assasin (played by Jeong Woo-seong) and a detective who fall in love with the same woman (played by Ji-hyun).
Jeong Woo-seong was popular lately with his performance in “A Moment to Remember” (co-starring Son Ye-jin). Together with Hong Kong stylish actor Simon Yap, the cast for “Daisy” is pretty strong.
The film will be shot entirely in Netherlands, and with cast and crews across China, Hong Kong and Korea.. “Daisy” is aiming to win big for the global market.
Entertainment Weekly named the cast of ABC’s hit drama “Lost” as its Entertainer of the Year, calling the show one of the “biggest cult breakouts since The X-Files.”
ABC is currently showing the 2nd season of “Lost”, seeing the success of it I am eagerly waiting for the series to be show at my local tv.
