Xu Wei Lun Biography
Dear Wei Lun passed away on January 28, 2007. She couldn’t recovered from her fatal car accident.
Started her career in modelling, Wei Lun’s charm and beauty was spotted by TV drama producers pretty soon.
Xu Wei Lun started acting while still studying in university, and gradually gained her fame and popularity not just by her look, but with her lovable performances in acting as well.
Wei Lun also co-star in a few super hit MVs and a very popular figure in TV commercials.
Wei Lun was probably first noticed by audience for her brief appearance in the Asia popular TV drama “Meteor Garden.”
Wei Lun had a noticeable supporting role in “True Love 18,” followed by her major leading role in Taiwan drama “Love Storm,” where she starred with her ex-boyfriend Zhou Yu-Ming (Vic Chou).
Wei Lun’s relationship with Vic didn’t last and ended in 2005. It’s not the end of the world, lost in love but gain in career; Wei Lun starred in 2005 Taiwan hit TV dramas “Express Boy” with Mike He Jun Xiang and Wei Lun become an Asian popular star.
Most people only know Wei Lun by her acting, but little known is that she’s a talented musician. She can play piano and harp very well, and can play guitar, drum and erhu as well.
Sad to see a talented actress leaving us at such a young age, life is unpredictable… RIP my dear Wei Lun, will miss you always.

There are 3 months since the day she left. I miss her so much. I’m watching her film and it makes me miss her more. Until now, I can’t understand that a person likes her gone so early. Yes, it is really sad to know that someone like her has left the world, however, avid fans and supporters will just have to accept that painful fact. I am not a local of Taiwan, so I don’t know much about this pretty girl, I just happen to know her when CTS was about to broadcast “Tai Yang De Ni Er”. Honestly, she’s cute, somewhat childish on her role in “Xiang Fei”. Too bad for me, I only gotten to know someone like her when she had already passed away. I could have been her fan.
I don’t know how am I going to ask this, what does her family does for a living? If I am not mistaken, in some South East Asian Countries, actors/ actresses tend to come from poor families and they eventually become popular then at the same time earn big talent fees and becomes the breadwinner of the family. Does the same situation happens in Taiwan???

I believe so, after 5+ yrs of acting, definitely, someone as famous as her has already quite big number of savings.
I think the funeral expenses alone costs already about NT$10,000,000. Although, I believe some expenses could be shouldered by the TV Network and some other sponsors.
Just curiousity, in Taiwan, there is this culture of “Zhao Tu” an act where you hire a monk? I think to talk to the dead person’s spirit, is there any truth to this? Does it really work?

yes, same here, I felt totally sad when I come to think that the actress I am watching on Xiang Fei is already dead. Also, when I listen to the songs of Xiang Fei and Tai Yang De Ni Er.
Well, its really sad, but life has to go on.

Just merely asking, as many people tend to post their thoughts in this site. One thing for sure, she has physically disappeared. Spiritually, then its hard to say, some people convince themselves that XWL has turned to an angel. But for me, my opinion is I am unlikely to believe in angels, as they just happen on fairy tales, which is very much fictional.
