Dear Wei Lun passed away on January 28, 2007. She couldn’t recovered from her fatal car accident.
Started her career in modelling, Wei Lun’s charm and beauty was spotted by TV drama producers pretty soon.
Xu Wei Lun started acting while still studying in university, and gradually gained her fame and popularity not just by her look, but with her lovable performances in acting as well.
Wei Lun also co-star in a few super hit MVs and a very popular figure in TV commercials.
Wei Lun was probably first noticed by audience for her brief appearance in the Asia popular TV drama “Meteor Garden.”
Wei Lun had a noticeable supporting role in “True Love 18,” followed by her major leading role in Taiwan drama “Love Storm,” where she starred with her ex-boyfriend Zhou Yu-Ming (Vic Chou).
Wei Lun’s relationship with Vic didn’t last and ended in 2005. It’s not the end of the world, lost in love but gain in career; Wei Lun starred in 2005 Taiwan hit TV dramas “Express Boy” with Mike He Jun Xiang and Wei Lun become an Asian popular star.
Most people only know Wei Lun by her acting, but little known is that she’s a talented musician. She can play piano and harp very well, and can play guitar, drum and erhu as well.
Sad to see a talented actress leaving us at such a young age, life is unpredictable… RIP my dear Wei Lun, will miss you always.

Im newbie here. Umm actually I first realised WL in Love Storm ( agree with someone who said that WL is better than vivian in that series). wat can i say. SHE REALLY HAS A UNIQUE STYLE OF ACTING. Love that way. I dont love an actress because of her beauty. To me, she must has a differnt style, you know i mean personality from the others. In Chinese i only love ZHAO WEI and now Taiwanese is WL.
I’ve finished watching “Express Boy” (actually i dont like the script very much, just watch because of her). Not the girl, who is easy in love, easy in giving up anything. She’s open minded, caring for everyone. I hope she is that kinda girl in real life.

[...] Taiwan actress Xu Wei Lun passed away at 7.37pm on Sunday (January 28). Her heartbeat stopped at 5.09pm and the doctors didn’t manage to get her back after 2 hours of rescue. Wei Lun met with a car accident on Friday night and couldn’t recover from her head injury. She suffered internal breeding in her skull. It’s sad to see her died at such a young age; she’s a good actress and got some good talents… she was actually planning to release her debut album later this year. I bet her fans will be sad with the tragic lost, just like I do. I understand how her family feels. We have been through that before, when Pete met with an accident. The fortunate thing is that Pete came around and recovered within a month despite a serious accident. But Wei Lun did not. She left this world at a young age. Can’t help but feel sad about it. Really, I want to ask, why this world is so come to terms with that! No matter how hard I tried! Venerable once told me that nothing is permanent in this world. But Venerable isn’t this so cruel! I’m her fan in Singapore. Till now I cannot accept this fact. How I wish it’s all dreams.. Things happen in a sudden, Too fast for me to react. I love her acting but now I do not dare to watch. I will only weep. Currently I’m at cilent’s place where I heard the news that she has left us. Now I can only control myself and hold back my tears.

This is what that makes life so sad, many things we think we can control is beyond our control. We can’t make Weilun come back to life, neither can we express our deep sadness with her passing away. She is still so young and I believe many more things awaits her had she not met with this unfortunate accident. Nobody wants to see these things happen, but its really really beyond us. I don’t think we can ever accept this piece of news. Its very difficult for us to accept and understand why this kind of thing always have to happen to people we support and care about. Its tough to understand God’s decision to take you away so prematurely. I believe many people would feel that they have lesser to offer to this world and would rather take your place to sacrifice rather than you. Its simply unfair, but we are not God. We can’t make this world the way we always wanted it to be. Your passing away makes me very sad and I think a lot of people would be like me for a long time – unable to walk out of this grief and be happy again. Sorry to say this, but I really hate the way this world is. No matter how good you want it to be, it always never fail to disappoint you at the most inapproriate moment. Please rest in peace Weilun, we will always remember you for the way you are. This world will never be the same again without you.

Its really not easy to live in this world. I don’t know why, but somehow I find that people these days have so much on their mind and people don’t really care so much about living a simpler and happier life. People are always rushing and getting impatient with other people and not caring enough for others. I don’t know why i’m saying these, but I find that most of us are responsible for making this world so unfeeling and so cold these days. Angels like Weilun are hard to come by, and yet God has to take her away from us. Seeing Weilun when she was alive reminds us that there is still hope afterall in living becoz at least there is still someone so nice around. But since her untimely death, the world seems so dark and even sadder than ever. I can never fully express my inner sorrow, no matter what, I can never accept that she deserves to go this way. Pardon me, God is too cruel to all of us. Now I know why others meant by saying living itself is torture because we feel the pain, the helplessness and the sadness of life going seriously wrong and taking away things that we hope won’t be taken away from us. God, please take care of our little Princess and let her rest in peace. (I know its unrealistic to say this, but I hope everyone can pray together and hope that God would treat all of us better in future and not let something like that happen again to anyone. I also hope that this world can no longer look so cold and everyone so unhappy becoz I believe thats the spirit of Weilun when she was alive and thats probably what she hope to see). God bless her.

Lets hope that she is at peace in Heaven now and I hope that everyone who loves her would pray for her everyday till the day we die and hopefully join her in Heaven. I always maintain that she doesn’t deserve to leave us this way, its too cruel and painful for her as well as for all of us. I understand that some people say we may be exaggerating becoz she doesn’t even know us personally. I think its not that important whether she knows us or not. We had seen her on TV before and we already felt as if we know her through her dedication to something that she loves. That is something that most of us can’t claim to be. We are always led by the nose to do something that could only fill our stomach, but not our heart. Moreover, she is such a nice person and that is already more than enough to make all our hearts break for her death. Let us all pray for her in peace and not disrespect her anymore with any negative comments. Its my wish and I believe many people’s wish to see this happen. If you have anything unpleasant to say, just write down on a piece of paper, not here please or any other places that are dedicated to her. Her burial will be on 8 of Feb, so let us cherish her last moments. We will and can never forget her, may God look after her and not let our Angel be happy again.

I know that everyone is feeling really down here, its ineviitable for us to feel this way. I’ve been thinking a lot about what happened and reasons to console myself on why it happened. But the best answer that I could come up with so far is God wants her to be an angel in Heaven, so He brought her so early to the skies above. But I couldn’t fathom why did God make her die this way? She isn’t a bad person, she is just a kind and highly passionate girl in her work, all she wanted in life are very simple things that everyone wanted, so why? If I use my logical thinking, it would be that God doesn’t really like me to make me go this way, but its contradictory to what I said earlier about God wanting her to be an angel above us. So, I just don’t know why. Its inconsequential about what I think is the reason behind this. What I want to express is the pain and sadness we feel about her death and life itself. Seriously, I’m very scared of life becoz of the unknown in front of us. Everything we do now may not matter so much in the face of death when it comes to us. We bicker with one another, we don’t trust one another and we hurt one another when we are still alive and breathing. But imagine how stupid we would make ourselves look if we have the chance to look back at these things that we had done to hurt others and ourselves. So, let us stop doing things to hurt other people now while we still can. I know its not easy, but at least that’s something I feel we should learn from the untimely death of our Angel Hsu Weilun. I believe its also something that she hopes to see all of us doing from the Heaven above. Lets pray for her and hope that she could feel the concern and love we have for her. Lets also pray that her family and friends could pull through this very difficult time. Hope that God could look after them and make them overcome the pain and grief. God bless them.

Sad to say but it’s her fate that she has to leave this world at this point of time… And leave all those whom she love, her parent, her relatives and all her friends.. One day, all of us will also be leaving, maybe at differnt time, or perhaps at the same time. She is just taking a trip to another world. But this trip is only one way and with no return ticket. The only time when she will return is of a different person, or a different form.

As far as I know the actual story of the accident is still unclear. For sure both the car driver and the truck driver will have to bear some responsibilities.
No one can be sure though that they could react in a better way in the situation, common sense is one thing, but the responsiveness at the actual scene is unpredictable…. we just won’t know because we were not there.

Ascending to heaven might be a better way for Angel Xu. I could’nt believe she had passed away but at times I felt that she might rather to die and be a guardian angel than to be disfigured. sometimes patient will rather to die than to live wif a ugly face. e.g someone i know become disfigure even thg she survived thru a car accident but she suicide few mths later and everyone were very upset abt it.

I grieved at knowing her death. More so when i saw her pictures on her official website. She is an attractive girl with lots of charm. Got to know her more through reviewing some of her past “U-Tube” video clips. She is just herself, never pretend to be someone else. That’s a positive point. Yet don’t know why she never meets with a good man who can love her wholeheartedly. She cries easily….nothing wrong with that, is just her character. She has a true nature. Her good friend once commented in “Sunday”that she can be a little blur. I read that she unbuckled her seat belt and thought it was safe at the site of accident. I don’t know what to say….We can’t turn back the clock now…I cannot say for sure there won’t be injury if she has buckled her seat belt …but at least she might not have sustained such a fatal injury that costs her life. I worked in a neuroscience unit and always see brain trauma patients and understood the meaning of coma grade 3. Is very painful for the parents/relatives/friends/fans. As a medical staff, I think is better for her to pass on than to become vegetative for the rest of her life… I am sure the accident had happened so fast and suddenly that was beyond her best ability to react with a rationale mind. She couldn’t prevent the accident from happening, at least she had already hanged on for 2 days for her family and friends to say goodbye before she left this world. Weil Lun, you will be remembered by all who love you…

Most of us would want to know the verdict of the driver, her assistant who drove her car. The survivor (drivers) often suffered lapse of memory and couldn’t recall the accident. This is true. Most would live in misery, guilt and remorsefulness for causing the victims’ death. They might also commit suicide. My heart also goes out to the assistant too as i believe it is a very traumatic event (car accident & death of wei lun)..

I cried too though i only get to know her after her death. It always seem celebrities became more popular after their death. Wei Lun is already popular in Taiwan, now more. I think is worse for her fans and all those who know her personally. I can only see her through her past drama series whenever i think of her. Most of us comfort ourselves by saying ” hopefully, she will be happier in another world”. But really..do we really know for sure. I guess that is at most the best comfort we can offer to the living, especially to her family. I rather like to think she is in a very deep sleep until the end of the world comes.

sherline… I guess you just got your SPM result. Bad result doens’t mean end of the world, but you can’t blame your family to be disappointed though.
Study is not easy, and lots of people don’t like to study… but you have to. Nowadays you can’t do much without having a diploma or a degreee.
Sure if you got real talent you might become a superstar… but fact it becoming a star is even tougher than getting good result in studies.
Stop crying, and don’t even think of ending your life. Life is too good to end just because you get bad results and scolded by family.
Go ahead with the Astro contest, but do know that ‘like’ to sing and dance is not enough… you need to be good at it. Good luck.

My friend and I just made a DVD which contains all your film,shows…I felt very sad when you passed away but now I feel better because I know that you lived and brought to our life many wonderful things. Not only was you a talented actress but you also finished university and could many languages… I can learn many things from you. Thank God for sending her to us. I am glad that I managed to buy 2 of her books. Thank you for the publisher who re-printed them. I learnt so much from Wei lun’s book about caring for skin, body and learning more about make up and dolling up. The moment when i read the first page in “Dan Dan Ri Ji” handwriten by her, I almost burst into tears. It touched my heart as i could feel her sincerity. There was a DVD which comes together with the book. I moved to tears again when i saw her in her nature way when she was preparing photo shots for her book. Perhaps, this is the only memory she has left for her fans which relates so closely to herself. Thank you, Weil Lun.

Yes, it is really sad to know that someone like her has left the world, however, avid fans and supporters will just have to accept that painful fact. I am not a local of Taiwan, so I don’t know much about this pretty girl, I just happen to know her when CTS was about to broadcast “Tai Yang De Ni Er”. Honestly, she’s cute, somewhat childish on her role in “Xiang Fei”. Too bad for me, I only gotten to know someone like her when she had already passed away. I could have been her fan.
I don’t know how am I going to ask this, what does her family does for a living? If I am not mistaken, in some South East Asian Countries, actors/ actresses tend to come from poor families and they eventually become popular then at the same time earn big talent fees and becomes the breadwinner of the family. Does the same situation happens in Taiwan???

I believe so, after 5+ yrs of acting, definitely, someone as famous as her has already quite big number of savings.
I think the funeral expenses alone costs already about NT$10,000,000. Although, I believe some expenses could be shouldered by the TV Network and some other sponsors.
Just curiousity, in Taiwan, there is this culture of “Zhao Tu” an act where you hire a monk? I think to talk to the dead person’s spirit, is there any truth to this? Does it really work?

Just merely asking, as many people tend to post their thoughts in this site. One thing for sure, she has physically disappeared. Spiritually, then its hard to say, some people convince themselves that XWL has turned to an angel. But for me, my opinion is I am unlikely to believe in angels, as they just happen on fairy tales, which is very much fictional.

Nothing so substantial happened after she died, only people mourning about a loss of an actress who is famous, cute, pretty and beautiful. I am not her fan , I just happen to know her when the TV broadcasted the preview her last work.
What I can feel is I lost an elder sister, that kind of feeling. Although I don’t really know what her real character is. She looks very humble and down to earth, but I don’t have any idea if I am correct. As looks can easily deceive a person.

wei lun is such a pretty,multi-talented atress.and why must god take her away from us? i miss her so,so much.i wish that i can see her in some TV drama once more..why must she die? i saw her once in the TV drama ‘express boy’ and i didnt know that was wei lun until i read one magazine talking about wei lun,then only i realised that was wei lun in express boy. :( i really miss wei lun. hope wei lun will rest in peace.

Weilun..its been so long.. but still thinking of you. every day. i guess alot of ppl are still grieving and thou i m not a big fan of yours, i still think u r someone whom I wld idolise if i had known u earlier. I know is too late cos i wont be able to see u on screen anymore. I cant see u grow older each year. It is so sad to see her parents’ only hope for her is to see her in their dreams. xu wei lun has a great smile…i was interested in findin out more about her but also sadly i have found out a couple weeks ago that she has passed…i read about it when i found out…that rainie and mike knew her…and they were at here funeral home and everything…so sad that she never lived up to her wishes of getting married and having children…she will be remembered until the end of the world…may you rest in peace Hsu Wei Lun w/ the beautiful smile of yours.

photo I ever seen , so.. I decide to join and collect Her preety pictures.
I just cannot explain by words ,why Her smile and charm is like no other
models & actresses in this world.
But I just found out yesterday 29 july.2008 that she had passed away in 2007. I just feel the tears in my heart about her and I will always remember
