Matsu Takako Biography
Matsu Takako was born in an artist family, yet that didn’t automatically boost her into starhood. Takako started her acting career in stage drama (still actively involved) before guest starring in a few TV drama series.
Matsu Takako made her entertainment debut in 1993 on stage at Tokyo Kabukiza before making her screen debut in 1994 NHK Drama “War of Roses.”
Matsu Takako was widely noticed in 1996 when co-starring as a sweet cutie in the all time favorite TV series “Long Vacation,” which featured superstar Kimura Takuya.
It was Takako’s later TV series “Love Generation” with Kimura Takuya again that burst her into superstar status in 1997, and she remained popular ever since then.
It was also in 1997 that Takako released her first album “Sora No Kagami,” and still enjoying success both as an actress and singer currently.
Matsu Takako is one of the very few Japanese female superstars that never posed for any swimsuit modeling, so you probably won’t find much of her sexy photos anywhere.
Takako’s latest production is movie version of popular TV drama “Hero,” starring alongside Takuya Kimura again.
Why I like Matsu Takako
Matsu Takako is not the typical beauty face I like, yet her friendly girl-to-next-door factor still fairly charming for me.
Probably not everyone would fall in love with Takako, but surely most people would like her and want to make friends with her.
Needless to say Takako’s multi-talent are really impressive, and she normally keep a low profile and concentrate on her work rather than being a publicity whore.

I love Matsu ever since Long Vacation. Kimura Takuya and Matsu is the best on screen couple ever for Japanese drama imo. Too bad that they didn’t end up together in Long Vacation. I love them so much in Love Generation. As for Heros, I felt there are not enough screen time together as couple =( Wish to see another collaboration of them!

looks like Im the only matsu takako’s fan in the world my favorite song is akari no tomoru hou he and other I live in usa here is kind of hard get a matsu takako cd I only have the harvest song and the hidden blade and I just love her I had to buy this from some part of asia I like latin rock in spanish because thats my culture and my lenguage I don’t understand a single word she sings but I love matsu takako if you want to see about my visit my web page purojaguares@hotmail.com
