Son Ye-jin Biography
Son Ye-jin started appearing in commercials since 1999, and made her acting debut in 2001 for MBC drama “Sweet Propose” (also named “Delicious Proposal”). She was named MBC best new actress in the same year.
Son Ye-jin then starred in a few other TV dramas and movies before her breakthrough in 2003, with popular TV drama “Summer Scent,” starring alongside Song Seung-hun that made her one of the most popular actresses in Korea and around Asia.
It was also in 2003 when Son Ye-jin starred in “The Classic” alongside Jo In-seung, which was a box office success in Asia as well.
2005 was another great year for Son; her movie “April Snow” (with Bae Yong-joon) and “A Moment to Remember” (with Jung Woo-song) were both massive hit around Asia.
Ye-jin’s role in April Snow won her a best actress award at Asia Pacific Film Festival 2006.
In 2006, Son Ye-jin starred with actor Gam Woo-seong in highly rated TV drama “Alone In Love.”
Son Ye-jin seems unstoppable at the moment, already one of Korean biggest stars and making fame across Asia; we will see more from Ye-jin in the near future for sure.

Son Ye Jin is cute and pretty. She looks good when she smile and look adorable even when she cries. One of the prettiest actress I’ve seen on screen.

True Aniox, she’s getting better recently. I especially like her acting in “A Moment to Remember,” simply marvelous.

Son Ye-jin is pretty. As mentioned by anonymous at #84… she don’t have the WOW factor… but somehow I like the way she is, a bit of girl-next-door feeling perhaps.

Yeah, that’s probably a pretty good term for her. I’m attracted to that girl next door look alot of times though. I like a wholesome look too. And I like slutty look also sometimes, lol. I like alot of looks I guess.
Mainly as I’ve said, I like nice even natural features as a basis for me on looks. Then the make up, clothes, hair or whatever can add to the beauty for me.
Ofcourse, people here need to understand, that me not being asian, I probably have my own unique ideas for being pretty, Maybe a liittle different than some here, but I love the look of Asian girls overall. You’d be surprise how many caucasian guys like Asian girls beauty. I’m not much into looking at Asian guys though, LOL. Not much into looking at any guys. :D

Well, I bet lots of Asian guys like Western beauty as well… sad thing is we often see Asian girls marrying Western guys, but not quite the opposite way… so so disappointed lol.

Son Ye Jin certainly is one of the most beautiful Asian actress. What sets her above the rest is her outstanding acting ability. Watching her facial expressions from moment to moment in Summer Scent is just super Great Acting you do not see in any other pretty face actresses. If you have a chance to watch Summer Scent again, pay attention to her expressions you will know what I mean.

Is there a chance for her to do a Summer Scent II, I have watched Summer Scent more than a half dozen times, even though Alone inLove. Classic, and April Snow are also very good, but her performance in Summer Scent is just Super Great

she is so sweet n beautiful…….couldn’t take my eyes off her after watching THE CLASSIC n A MOMENT TO REMEMBER…..her smile is particularly very sweet….a good actress as well…..my best wishes are always there 4 her….

Erm, I looked her up after I watched ‘Summer Scent’. Don’t get me wrong, she is remarkably beautiful, but she appeared to me as a cute girl AT FIRST. It might have something to do with her character, but throughout the drama, my opinion changed. The way she smiles, cries, etc., it was simply “wow”. There is something about her that just spells out Amazing, leaving me “breathless”. I am looking forward to see her in other movies/drama series. Keep up the good work. =)
