Gigi Leung Wing Kei Biography
Gigi Leung Wing Kei started her entertainment career in modeling when she was still in university, and immediately caught the eye of film producers inviting her for movies making.
Gigi Leung made her movie debut in “Doctor Mack” (1995), her performance and sweet look gained wide reviews and was offer opportunities to star in “Full Throttle” and “Sixty Million Dollar Man” in the same year.
Starring alongside great stars like Tony Leung, Andy Lau and Stephen Chow in her first 3 movies helped a lot to boost Gigi Leung’s popularity; she immediately became Hong Kong fastest rising star.
Gigi Leung then surprised her fans by releasing her first album “Love Myself” in 1996, and she proved that she can be a good singer as well.
Gigi’s entertainment career was skyrocketing until 1999 when she got together with her ex-boyfriend Ekin Cheng (Gigi’s relationship with Ekin ended in 2005). Many blamed Gigi for causing Ekin to break up with his then long term girlfriend, and her popularity hit all time low…
Gigi Leung continued to work hard with her acting and singing and won back her fans shortly after the 1999 incident.
Gigi Leung has been acting in around 30 movies and has released around 20 Mandarin and Cantonese music albums, she recently started writing her own songs and involved in film directing as well.
Other than a remarkable career, Gigi Leung is also well known for her charity work in various organizations including UNICEF and WWF.

Gigi used to be my dream girl. I first come to know about her in her movie “Full Throttle”. Then she is such an innocent and pretty girl. Back then I surf her website alot and own a few albums of her. But when she start to get more and more popular, she seems to change. First she separated with her boyfriend, to start relationship with Ekin. That really dissappointed me. I know then, she will not be a normal and innocent girl again…Anyway, her movie, “Healing Hearts” is my favourite film of her!

Yummy, are you sure she’s just 174cm? It seems she is much taller than that in her movies…or is it her co-stars are shorter than her? Or is it because of high shoes….

I can’t be sure, I never really measure her height in person :p
Most online resources put her height at 174-176cm, so I can only guess that she is indeed at that range. Maybe Hong Kong actors are not that tall… Andy Lau for example is 174, Tony Leung and Aaron Kwok should be shotter.

Hey guys,
i like Gigi she has a great personality. It doesn’t seem like she’s that popular on this website, not that many people left their reply. Gigi still gives me a good impression though.
One thing i wanted to point out though, after i watched her movie “Turn Ｌｅｆｔ，Ｔｕｒｎ Ｒｉｇｈｔ＂, i noticed that her mandarin is not that good, it’s a bit disappointing

GiGi Leung is pretty tall, but she is not 174cm, she is actually 171cm to 172cm due to the fact that every celebrities want to make themself taller then their real height, and people in Hong kong are gernerally shorter, so GiGi in comparison to them will look like a giant.

Gi Gi is around 172cm tall, in hong Kong people are generally shorter so she look taller, she is definitly not 174cm
